This is at 1 Compassion Rd, North Freeport Everfrost Server.

foyer" alt="" border="0">

The foyer (front enterance room). It's a little bland and I am having problems on trying to figure out how to spruce it up a bit.

dinning room" alt="" border="0">

This is the dinning room. I like it how it is; simple but elegant.

kitchen" alt="" border="0">

The kitchen.  Not to over done, there are ideas I have to add to it.

bar" alt="" border="0">

The bar.  One of my favorite parts of my house.

livingroom" alt="" border="0">

The livingroom. This needs tons of help, but I don't have any ideas.  Any suggestions would be vastly appriciated SMILEY.

library" alt="" border="0">

Upstairs library.  It's also part of my plushy collection.

bedroom" alt="" border="0">

Bedroom.  As you can see, this despritely needs Something.  I don't know what though; again, any suggestions would be appriciated SMILEY.

reading nook" alt="" border="0">

The reading nook.  I had to go the old fashioned way of using tables to make a floor.  Just using the carpet causes the toon to fall through.  Even with that, I like a ambiance.

garden" alt="" border="0">

My pride and joy: the garden.

garden2" alt="" border="0">

Opposite view of the garden.

playroom2" alt="" border="0">

My playroom SMILEY.

Office" alt="" border="0">

And, my arcane workroom.

I have a level 80 crafter alt, but she is only adv. level 55 atm.  I wanted to add some of the new rok faction carpenter items, but she is too low to be in those zones.  Any ideas you have would have to be with out those crafting receipes for the time being.

My lvl 49 swash/80 jeweler has started on all the ROK factions and has finished her epic. There's a quest on the docks in KP to get the flight posts there and there's quests you can do to get faction up just enough that everything isn't aggro to you (at least in the areas you need to TS in). Also my lvl 59 wizzy has started all of the factions for her 80 carpenter. Its tricky but it can be done. Just realize there's gonna be a bit of death/debt, but you CAN do it! SMILEY As to your house... I think its lovely. THe only things I could say to spruce it up a bit are perhaps a few more colorful items for furniture/paintings. Just check the broker for whatever is available (look at it in dressing room) and add things that fit with what you have already but add a touch of color. Perhaps some barstools in green or blue. Or a different rug (the rilissian ornamental is a lovely blue color). It looks great so far, jsut add a bit more touches to it and you'll have it perfect.

I think you have a really good eye for balance.  SMILEY  Echoing the above poster, I feel that adding a bit of color would go a long way in sprucing the place up.  Freeports home often suffer from that "antiseptic" feeling.  The carpets from RoK factions would work lovely, you could use the large banners (that look like cloaks) to add color to the walls.    Use the darker stone pillars instead of the lighter stone ones, etc.  Basically just create a contrast of color.  Love the way you did your library/plushie area and your outdoor area.  SMILEY

You have a great start on your house so far! What I would add, to make the house less sterile feeling, would be carpets on the floors. But don't make the carpets ruler-straight in their alignment. If you have carpets at home, you know that the minute someone starts walking on them, they start shifting. Carpets at odd angles on a floor make a room feel "fuller," and make a room appear lived-in.For your front room, I'd put some shelves or bookcases along the walls, to make it feel a little fuller. Add knicknacks to the shelves, and you're set to go.On your living room, I would switch the placement of a lot of the items. Maybe move the fireplace to the corner, and set the chessboard at an angle in front of it? Tilt the chairs at odder angles, so they're not so mathematically precise. Make it look as though some guests were in the middle of a game, and got up for some reason or another. A glass of wine on the edge of the chessboard always does wonders for making it feel more used. Do the RoK quests (you most definitely can do it at 55 adv level. I've heard of 20s doing it! The hardest part is dodging aggro when running from place to place the first time. If you can find a higher level friend to help you out, you're set. If you can't, it's still doable. Just be careful!) and put down some of those carpets. In the meantime, investing in any of the larger carpets might work. Maybe another of the rough linen carpets. I wouldn't go quilted though, too colorful for what you have right now. Set whatever carpet(s) you use in the empty areas. And I'd move the piano to a corner. It's lovely, but it's not really something you'd have in the middle of a living room. Any piano I've ever seen in a house is always in a corner, or along a wall out of the way.Your library is lovely! The only suggestion I have there is once again, more carpets! Also, not all tables must be on a carpet. Or if you feel that you need carpets under every table, you should think about shifting them over slightly, so it's not so "perfect."Your bedroom is quite nice. The only thing I can think to suggest is (aside from carpets... SMILEY) that you invest in pillows. Heart-shaped, feather-stuffed, something along those lines. A small bookcase might be nice as well, for that right-before-bed reading a lot of people like to indulge in.Once again, your house is lovely. As others have pointed out, color helps a lot. Freeport homes are just so bland without some color. Great job so far, your house looks wonderful. And your garden is amazing!~ Jaz

Getting the Crafter Epic is one thing, getting enough faction with Bathezid/Rilliss/Danak to be able to craft those special items is a whole other big boring grind if you're a low level adventurer. I've got 4 lvl 80 Crafters through the Epic quest, the lowest of which is 25 Wizzy, so yea it's totally achievable no matter what adventure level you are, just really boring to get all the recipe books SMILEY

You mentioned a problem with falling thru the carpets. If you can't get teh RoK rugs the other posters mentioned, you can layer some of the lower level ones to get lofts and platforms. Some rugs are solid but transparent underneath, some are visible from below but are not solid. There are other threads that will tell you which are which.

As for the living room, start by not thinking of it as one space, and never assume furniture needs to be against a wall. Divide the area into 2 or 3 different spaces. One with the fireplace for a more formal seating area. Then one or two more conversation areas in the remaining spaces. Two chairs, a table, an end table, lamp, rug underneath. they can use similar furniture as the main area or be more lounging like. Throw in a glass and run, and open book on a seat, a knick knack on a table, a pillow, a plate of food put down somewhere. All will add color and a lived in feeling, negating the empty sterile feel of the freeport homes.

A little color and a few small touches will be great additions to what is already a great start.
