If you and your guild like to regularly throw events and they're well documented, let us know and you may be featured on EQIIPlayers!

Yes, you heard me right!  If you like to party scross Norrath, let us know in detail what went on and where across Norrath it took place (screenshots are awesome!) and your event may be featured on our "Friday Features"!  Even if you've recently had a blow-out on Norrath for the coming of the New Year or over the holidays, that's still fair game!  If you have something and are willing to share the info with your fellow adventurers, throw me a PM and I'll let you now what's needed!

  • House party?
  • New and different raid event? (Naked gnome run to the Dragon's den, anyone?!)
  • Parade though the local city (Whether you're welcome there or not!)
  • New Year's blow out?If you got together with your friends and had a great time, tell us about it!

No Comment.....SMILEY

Sorry Gnobrin I would love to give ya some events for the guild i'm in, but we just don't do that much.  Our original leader wanted us to make a bunch of gnome alts and do a lemming dive off of the peak near oracle tower into the ocean.

Vindicators on Antonia Bayle has weekly, monthly and seasonal events...from guild based quizzes (kind of like Jeopardy without answering in questions), housing contests, etc.

Vendolyn, if your guild is event-heavy and they would like a little spotlighting, screenshot those major events, write-up what happened and let me know!  I'll be more then happy to show it off on EQIIPlayers!

There are some great events on AB and I hope their sponsors post here.  Here are some of the ones I and my guild have been involved in.  These are all roleplay events:The Festival of Discord:  A multi-guild, multi-day tournament of events.  Held annually.

(pic needed)

Night of The Faithful:  This year's event sponsored by The Discipleship (in February) will be the 4th consecutive Night of the Faithful - an event where speakers of different faiths deliver speeches/sermons advocating their own deities.  So far we have about 12 speakers from different guilds of different alignments.

The Lectern:  A monthly event hosted by The Discipleship where guest lecturers are invited to speak on a variety of topics:  lore, history, magic, deities, etc.

The Wharf Rat:  A pirate-themed tavern operated by our sister guild, the Gunthak Pirates.  It is open on a TBA basis.

Attack on Qeynos:  A multi-guild, in-character "raid" on Qeynos executed by the Darklight Pact, an evil/neutral raid and role play alliance.

Hi All:

Just wanted to let everyone know that Tairise of Butcherblock held a Happy Frostfell party the middle of December at Azjin's house in Freeport that was very well attended.  Tairise's talented Guild Leader, Shylah, got some of the Guild members together and they maxed out the house limit with Frostfell decorations that they crafted.  Shylah was not finished there, but put her abilities to good use by taking screenshots of most of the attendees and then used those screenies using an image editor and compiled this awesome item:

[image] Starting from the left: Toqua (halfling), Embersflame (human), Lyrikill (sarnak), Makal (lion form), Tyrana (high elf), Kirac (ogre), Uhlen (Dark elf), Fasci (Fae), Cat (Fae - Nicholette), Coica (kerra), Alfreya (wood elf), Azjin (human), Kulost (fae), Shylah (kerra), Hetae (dark elf), Atarax (ogre), Ebava (half elf), Rykshi (kerra), Shazap (gnome), Opitone (dark elf), Algereb (dwarf), Kikila (human), Furflies (kerra), Neoshae (half elf), Wootncute (human), and last but not least... wee Nibblet at my feet <img src=" width="15" height="15">

In addition to this awesome pic, another of our talented guild members, Neoshae, actually made a video of Tairise's Frostfell party.  For any who are interested in watching it, it can be found at:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=S_c6PRSv7KI

We all gathered at Azjin's house in Freeport (and escorted any of our members that required safe passage !!), socialized for a bit while snogging down on drinks and munchies, and then we had a Secret Santa Exchange that we had all worked hard on.   It had previously been stipulated that the gifts must have been made by a Guild member or one of their Alts.  Everyone seemed to really enjoy receiving their Frostfell prezzies!!!

I would like to take the opportunity to publicly thank & commend both Shylah and Neoshae.  It is efforts like theirs that make the EQ2 Community such a great one and enhance our gaming pleasure.  Tairise is a great family style guild and things like this really make us feel a part of the family !!!  I believe that they truly deserve to be featured for their efforts above and beyond what any of us could possibly expect.

Another large-scale event on the Antonia Bayle server is the Festival of Unity, an annual multi-guild, multi-day tournament of events sponsored by Qeynos/Kelethin and neutral guilds.

/grins Awesome thread!

Here's a couple we are proud of:

This was a combination rp event/ party for us and the people of AB. There was a gift-giving Ratonga called 'Sandy Paws' who would take / give presents considering how /cough 'good' you were that year! Add a lot of Frostfell takes on Christmas carols, people spiking the egg nog, and the randomly flying deer, it made for a great time!

Before that was the DREADED....

A tour of the terrible twisted terror troubling townies er...a lot. It had the DREADED FREEPORT VAMPIRE (Black lipstick and bad poetry and all) The UNCONTROLLABLE LEAPER (The bouncing tonga) and THE HORRIBLE LEET (Good Pl4T! Gr8 Price$! http://www.scumsuckingplatseller.com/! LOL ROFLCOPTER!!1!1eleven)

But warmest and closest to my heart...the GOLDEN LEMMING.

Jump off of high things and hope not to hit the rocks below for the amusement of small children and gnomes. Twisted. Horrible. Priceless.

But if there was one thing that I would say was the best thing that I had a hand in helping with it would be the multi-guild Festival of Unity.

Pictures do not do it justice. /salute all the people who made it possible.

I know that there is a video. Just gotta find it.

Ahh... good times. /salutes all the folks on AB!

Here's that link Spindel:

This video is of the Festival of Unity on Antonia Bayle and was created by the one and only Shackleton.  I'm also really proud of this event and I'm looking forward to this year's Festival.
