So... if I turn in a quest with 0 vitality do I get less XP that if i would have waited and turned it in with vitality?

Vitality has no effect on quest xp.Edited to add: Just as quest xp has no effect on vitality.  Vitality only drops when you kill something or do a tradeskill combine.

Vitality effects your tradeskill xp and your combat xp. Quest xp is not affected.
