Girlfriend wants to start playing and I was wondering what would be a good class to pair with my recently started Troub?

She was interested in a Pally which is fairly close to a SK. Do you think that will work well?

I think that would work fine.  I personally duo with my husband who plays a Monk.  Having a fighter as your duo partner has definite advantages.

Pally won't be quite as good as SK but better than monk.

Go for it.
