I hope it was not intentional that the reward for raiding on beta was a 1 charge instance reset item. This is virtually useless. With the addition of instance reset items in the past this has become a requirement for raiding with certain guilds. The ones in the past from race to trak and the proving grounds are nice for people's main characters, however if one wants to switch to an alt you're kind of out of luck. Having a claimable reset item that could be put on any character would then make that alt viable to raid full time.

It certainly was not advertised as a one-use item at the outset..per the announcement from when beta testing began:

Raid Beta Reward

Participate in developer-guided raid testing on the beta server and earn:
  • Planes of Prophecy Beta Instance Lockout Reset potion: This consumable potion will reset all persistent instance lockouts on your character. This potion may only be used once every 10 days, and no other lockout reset item may be used while the timer is in progress.
The once every 10 days comment makes it sound like you can use it more than once but only once every 10 days.

Could we please get some clarification on this as well as a fix if the intent was for it be usable more than once?

You can do the Beta Test more than once, so you get more than one item

Personally raid led 2 separate nights, and assisted another guild on a separate night, only got 1 reset item.

So unless you are doing it on different toons, that is certainly not the case.

That's what consumable means.

Just be happy you even got one. 95% of our raidforce didn't get the reward even though we were wearing the proper beta gear minus epic. Originally some were wearing tomes but as soon as gninja mentioned to swap those out too we did. Only like 2-3 people got the achievement. Whole thing left a gargantuan sour taste in my mouth.

Of the 14 of our guild on that raid only 1 got the reward. Of the other players we checked with, since we were all in vent together, only 1 other got the reward. Maybe you were thinking of the other raid you were handling at the same time?

I know there's a lot to shuffle, and we appreciate the opportunity to be part of the testing. I'm sure you'll help resolve this ASAP. Thanks! Smile

All but maybe 6 players got the achievement for helping pickup raid yesterday. Most were handed out throughout the night, rather than all at the end. Yes, those that did not get the achievement were the ones not following directions or flat out refusing to follow directions. If someone in the raid force thinks they did not get the achievement send me a PM with their name and I will double check. It could have been missed when awarded so make sure to check your achievements journal before sending the names. I have the few people that did not get the raid reward written down so as long as they are not on that list they should have gotten the achievement. It was FAR from 95% not getting the reward.
