With Skyshrine being released is it too far fetched to hope that we get a Droag playable race. We are afterall aligning ourselves with a certain faction of droag.

Very true, however the collection still uses an outdated application method (charge consumption instead of until canceled) and the Droag in the GU63 areas have new animations and clothing that the old illusion does not have.

Plus it is definitely a male droag.  The uncovered flat chest does not appeal to most of my gals.  I have several who just enjoy changing into all sorts of things, and those don't mind however.

+1 for this idea. If the ony thing that was holding us back form this originally was the flying thing with wings now that fae/arasai can fly this should no longer be a problem as well

LOL yes, though my sarnak ladies do not go for the partially exposed chest, flat though it may be.

Fitting armor to an entirely new body set is what would be keeping Droags unplayable. The illusion is as close as you will get unfortunately.

or you could use the "wookie logic" from SWG and give them the race with no promise to create them armor which will display when worn.

what fun would that be? just make a female illusion that looks decent. (give it revealing furs instead of armor*)

Droag reproduce in ways you can't comprehend. They are both male and female at the same time.

Hmm, so the characters in Scales in Balance were not sister and brother?  SMILEY

What I really wanted when DoV came out was a coldain race.  Blue dwarves would be really "cool".

I want to play as a yeti like the ones in Kunark.

"Admirer of bone-carvings, as strong as a gigas, a sasquatch pal with muscle!"

FF6 fans will recognize the quote

that or...

Gargoyles...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygrEVnrg3Ic

Basically we need a 'monster' race.    Sarnak comes in close but...still.

I say make a system with a general algorithm (sort of like PE for coercers) where you can merc up all sorts of mobs etc..for the looks and perhaps have random better ones etc.. Sort of like a breeding system without the breed

A Gargoyle race would be really cool, Sarnak is just another Iksar lizard boring and vampire race would be really cool the Freebloods are such a royal disappointment and a complete knock off of dark elfs even the racial traits of Freebloods were botched ever herd of a vampire that couldn't fly/glide and fall to death even elfs can glide

Yeah I was not pleased really with the freebloods.  Not because of some odd lore expectation but rather they are just ugly in my opinion.  Now you can not say "oh so you want a twilight vamp that is pretty?" because before they got 'dirty' most oldschool vampires had some class and looked decent.  Subject to opinion.

I'd actually like to see Aviaks/Avazek, they could easily be a neutral race. There are also already many known variations to the race (crow/raven, eagle, owl, parrot vulture, etc), and they are still fairly humanoid as far as fitting armor onto them, and flight obviously is not an issue anymore.

Everytime I would run into one via pve or pvp I would have to macro:

Chickity China the Chinese chicken You have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin'

There's a quest called "Speak like a dragon" (or something like that) so I'd quite like to "Play as a dragon".

I would pay good SC for Droag playable race. Aswell as good SC for Gnolls, Aviaks, and perhaps Orcs. I am rather sure many others would do the same thing

It's down to quantum. It always is.

See, if they are male and female at the same time, it is quantum.

Or is that androgynous?

Yeah Freebloods are offensively ugly, I still cant believe they did that when there are already so many great looking vampire races in game, right now they are on par with human race with out SOGA models
