I've played around with ward-stacking tonight, and had the following findings. A variety of tests were done to verify the information. Note that I do not have any information concering inter-class stacking, or even intra-class.  Quite simply, the first ward cast will take all hits it can, and then move to the second ward cast, etc. Uneven amounts or "spillover" will be applied to the second ward effect in line. Note that most importantly this applies to our mitigation buff line (which ends in Runic Talisman), Oberon, and Torpor. The regenning ward component of these spells will eat damage whenever they refresh, then other wards that have been applied will resume protection as normal. This applies with every ward line I've tested: Single Target, Group, Emergeny Single, Emergency Group, Oberon, and Torpor. I didn't have a mob around that could consistenly do noxious damage so that I could test Prophetic Aegis (noxious resist/ward), but I'm assuming it follows similar rules. More testing will be forthcoming if I can manage to snag my counterpart mystic and a defiler sometime soon. I am guessing that mystic spells of the same name will override each other, but it raises the minor question of how Runic Talisman will work (guessing it will stack). I am also guessing that defiler (or any other class') wards will follow the first cast first applied rule. EDIT: Spelling, Clarity, and an incorrect statement of Torpor's Effects

2. Torpor: As some of us know, if the target of Torpor is at max health, the regeneration will be applied to the initial ward ([email protected]) instead of to the recipient's health. The ward amount will never exceed the initial amount warded, so it is "topped off" per se. In cases where Torpor is cast first, and then another ward, the initial amount of the torpor ward will be eaten, and then will go on to the other ward. When torpor regens the ward portion, it will absorb damage with it and then go back to the other ward. So torpor is more useful when cast first, less useful when cast after.

That is not how Torpor works.

Torpor has TWO individual regen components.  One regens health on the target, the other regens the Ward.  They are completely independant.  Torpor will regen the Ward every tick regardless of anything else.  I posted a quick log of this somewhere here, but I'm too lazy to go dig it up.

Don't bother with logs, I checked mine. You are correct, of course, and I don't know how in the hell I didn't notice that before. Anyways, editing.

Sacred Aegis and Calamitous Shroud do not stack.  They just overwrite each other.  Not sure if that is working as intended since the ward stacking fix.

Yes, that is as intended.

One single target, one group Ward.

The emergency Wards may also stack on there, but god knows if a tank takes enough damage in one pop that all of that gets eaten up, you are going to die.
