We were able to rope Ryan "Blackguard" Shwayder into answering several questions we had regarding the upcoming 2nd expansion to Everquest II, Kingdom of Sky.  Take a few minutes to bring yourself up to speed on what you can expect to see in the Overrealm by reading the full interview at eq2.crgaming.com

In the future how about asking about player VS Player combat?

The interview is about the expansion.  PvP is LU20. They come out at the same time but are different things.

In fairness i have to point out something.  The combat revamp affected EVERYBODY, pvp will affect only those who chose to partake.  In other words, the only people who want to know about pvp, are those that want to know about pvp.  Simply put, with limited space and limited time, an interview should focus on the issues that concern the most, and frankly, more people are interested about KOS then they are about the PVP servers.

I'd be very happy to entertain a pvp interview on the subject, however given the limitations of dev time, and the ability to actually get someone to take the time and talk about something so close to the new expansion is a difficult task, and when given limited time, and limited questions, we will ask those that interest the most.

If I can make it happen I'd gladly have a pvp interview, but that simply was not the most pressing topic on our agenda.

Good reading interview,  shame there was no question asked on how we will be obtaining any new spells/combat arts though...Im wondering whether it will be buying them, or finding them if you are lucky enough  eg/ lvl's 51 - 60Or will we be lucky enough to be given the appI versions again eg/ lvl's 1-50Anyone with an official answer like to answer that here? :smileyhappy:

Great read, as always, and very informative. I am huge fan of Caster's Realm.

Heh, unfortunatly that which we ask and that which they answer are not always the same thing.  I believe we had a question like that in the long list, but it had to be trimmed down for matters of time, and things they just dont want to discuss yet.

I see no reason for T7 to be different from T6 in terms of receiving(yes i know it is spelled wrong and dont care) skills, especially w/ crafting being made umpteen times easier.

He could be referring to the new Acheivement system though.  :smileywink:
