 Again, I will restate: These spells have been clearly broken for a long time, and there are comparable "fixed" spells of these types, so there's no reason they should be bugged.
 
- All the Mystic nukes (Touch of the Grey/Ire of the Grey). These still increase target's speed. They used to do it "at all times," now it just increases the target's movement speed out of combat. It says it should slow them though, so the spell probably should be SLOWING them. You guys fixed Grey Wind (the Shaman-level nuke) but somehow stopped short on the Mystic ones.
 
- The STA/STR Buffs that give wards (Spirit of the Rhino/Spirit of the Elephant). These give a ward effect of about 20-40 points depending on the spell and your level, but the ward does not regenerate. Druids have a spell that gives a regenerating ward like this, why doesn't this one work?
 
 
 
Otherwise, the usual, haze sucks, wards are useless, and the badger needs to heal for more. Thanks.

I have noticed this bug also, but I believe it only occurs under certain circumstances. After I received my last group ward with my level up, it showed no description. Upon zoning, however, the description then appeared when I examined it again. The same bug occurred when I upgraded the spell, and was fixed by zoning. Are you never able to see the descriptions on these spells? Does zoning fix the issue? More specifics and we can get this /bugged properly.

I have this problem with Umbral Ritual (App4)...it shows no description...having zoned or not.  Also, Ward of the Eidolon shows a 200 pt mitigation increase vs crushing/slashing/piercing, and gives proc of Maul, but it doesn't list the ward strength either...it's also a group ward. (And why in the world bother having a ward buff mitigation if such is not taken into effect for wards...?? =/)

While we're on the subject....Spirit of the Elephant (Adept1, then Adept3) supposedly has a regenerating ward component. However, the ward only works once either after casting, recasting, or zoning, and does not regenerate. I find it vexing that all other regenerating ward components that other classes buffs have work just fine, but the supposed master of wards, Mystics, have a buff where that part is broken. Go figure. =/

Yes! The regenerating ward on Sprit of the Elephant and Spirit of the Rhino indeed does no regenerate. Can't believe I forgot that one.
 
There exist, in the game, "working" versions of these spells, so it is most vexing why these have not been fixed.

Funnily enough, I randomly checked the description on Wards of Shadows last night, knowing that for weeks it hasn't listed the damage absorbed, even after a recent patch that said the ward was 'fixed'  (not sure what that meant).  Anyways, my point is that when I checked it, for the first time it actually listed the damage it absorbs.   It was in the 1500 range (36 Mystic here).  I also examined the adept III in my spell book, and that showed up as in the 1800 range.  So a nice increase for the AD3 version.

Could you guys try checking yourselves and see if that was just a one off for me?

Weird, I can see the values on both of these spells. At 44, Umbral Ritual (App 4) wards for 1916, and Wards of Shadow (Adept 1) wards for 1679.

As of LU8, examining group wards displays values. At least for me.

Just a side note, my experience posted above regarding noticing the damage absorbed when examining Wards of Shadows was taken the night before LU8 went live... so seems like it was slipped in un-noticed... not that it's a first that should happen :smileywink:

So I hope that everyone who has been able to confirm the broken regenerating ward of Spirit of the Rhino/Spirit of the Elephant has /bugged it in-game.  You cannot be sure that SOE has noticed this particular thread, but they compile /bug reports.

In fact, you can be sure SOE has not even seen this thread.  No one up there plays a Mystic, therefore no one even reads these boards.

Check LU9.a on test server's update notes. It says touch of the grey is fixed. It doesn't say Ire of the Grey, and it's not on live yet, so I guess I'll keep it in my post until I see it *fixed.*

Also, the Sprit of the Rhino doesn't get better as it's upgraded. At least not from Adept to Master. I snagged a SoR Master last night and was thrilled because it's my first master drop. Upon checking against the Adept1 version on the market it seems the only difference is mana costs. I've read the LU9a update from the test server and it seems that a Beserker spell has been changed so it will now improve as it is upgraded. So my question is, is SoR not being improved as it's upgraded by design or a design flaw?

In response to group buffs not upgrading well - it's not a Mystic problem - it's that way for all classes.
