And talking about the ward, I believe it's 120-140k for me solo on live and I've seen it over 250k in raids for sure.

Yeah I just saw that everyone else got a nice boost to their prestige heal...clerics get the shaft...again...as to bringing it more in line with other healers yeah I'm not really buying that one.

Ucala fault, he posted an inqui doing 900 k hps, but we cannot really conclude anything from that .. on beta my potency is huge especially with the new temps and heroic zone do have weird buf currently.

900 K is probably what we had raidwide for the x2 in easy mode, and this is with a huge heal buf that is on 1/3 of the time ....

It was me doing that healing. =P

And Ucala only posted the Overall healing during this encountet. Divine Waters wasn't the highest heal, it supportet pretty well and left me "air" for debuffs and 1-3 CA attacks.

the 977k hps was everything I have to throw at the group. Inquisition, every reactive, and no need to tell all the healing equip I have gathered pushing my hps. Then the dungeon wide buff. On live I got above 800 pot infight, somtimes going over 900. with the buff I was at 1200 (I think) just standing around waiting for the next try.

Else my CC is way over 900, haven't looked if it gets boostet in that zone as well, but I was critting like hell.

If there was Ucalas ACT Log posted and that shows above 50% of the healing would have been devine waters, then I would have said, yep, nerf accepted.

Kalika you often jump to any conclusions because they fit how you think in this situation you just rage about... even often being corrected.

for that fight ACT heal percentage as follows:

Atoning Faith 23% - critting 100% of the time (from malovent diatribe)
Divine Guidiance 21% - critting 100% of the time
Allevation 13% - critting 100% of the time
Divine Waters 12% - critting 100% of the time
Allied Prayers 6% - critting 100% of the time
Chilling Invigoration 6% - critting 100% of the time
Inquisitions 6% - critting 100% of the time
Convert Ally 6% - critting 100% of the time
Vengeful Faith 2% - critting 100% of the time
Divine Armor 2% - critting 0% of the time
Fanatic's Devotion 2% - critting 100% of the time
Reprieve 1% - critting 0% of the time
Battle Dressing 1% - critting 100% of the time

everything else did 0%

The try we wiped I was even above that.

my ACT seemed to be higher then most others, for whatever reason idk. this happens in just about every group.

but lets say my 977k hps was accurate.
Divine waters was still 12% of the overall healing (4th on the list, with Atoning Faith, DG, and Allevation ahead of it). in fact although the overall number is different between what my ACT says and what Anghammarad's says, the percents are the same on the breakdown Tongue
over 50% of the healing was down by just 3 moves (none of which were divine waters).

with that being said, 900k hps is probably gonna be around the -norm- this expac, everything is going up

Ran one of the sewer drain zones last night, even though Gninja said those haven't been balanced in heroics.

Shaman did 34 of the healing, was pretty boring with two healers. I hope raids aren't like this again.

Also Divine Waters nerf bat so early in the beta process seems a bit much don't you think? Don't even let us use it on balanced content yet Xelgad, I take my thank you back! lol

A new HOT with near 50m range and doing 12% of the heal parse on close to 1m HPS encounters is pretty sweet, especially since we didn't have that before.

BUT I still think the nerf bat came in too early, I mean you just gave Shamans the biggest hand service they've received since years back and you can't let us have this. I know, first world problems and /smallviolin.

I feel like where it was BEFORE put us nicely on par with the other priest classes, why nerf us and beef up the other priests? I can see giving shamans a break but druids were doing just fine on both damage and heals. Divine waters was a good spell, but only 15 seconds long... and as anghammerad said, it wasn't even at the top of the list parse-wise on a tough fight. I did a couple of heal parses over 1mil in brokenskull bay and the breakdown was almost exactly as he showed : with divine waters making a good showing but definitely not topping alleviation, divine guidance or malevolent diatribe. Sounds like the days of spoiled druids are coming to a middle...

Interesting. In the light of this statement:
"The prestige tree is not intended to be a massive increase to player power, but it should be noticeable."

How exactly does the shaman end line fit? lol...the cleric end line certainly fits that now

Maybe more adjustments are to come. Maybe they aren't.

It's nerfed now on the base value of the heals so we have to move on, but we can be glad on a few things:

1) Instant cast, something Inquisitors do really well with our Myth Cure, and Divine Guidance, and Templars will welcome this openly I'm sure. Being able to instant cast on the move flatfooted or upside down mid air eating nachos is priceless.

2) It's a HoT BUT ALSO a Group Heal Bomb, flexibility that when I was running heroics last night I noticed was very useful in several scenarios. Like when your shaman goes down and suddenly the 250-500k group warded dmg comes back down fully on you, I could green out my group far faster by de-activating a running DW (or even casting then un-casting one on the spot) than Alleviation, while not burning other temps that I might currently before casting Alleviation, (and without a 90 second cooldown like on Equilibrium or DG, worse yet 5 mins elsewhere).

We'll make due. It was possible to heal Guardian's Edifice pre-reactive fix with pre-shaman boost wards as your second healer on an Inq, so we will make great use of this end line nerfed or not. I can hope that if the reduction in healing went too far on DW once all the heroic and raid content is balanced out and live, further adjustment can be made! BigGrin

I expressly wrote that we could not conclude anything ;-)

"Ucala fault, he posted an inqui doing 900 k hps, but we cannot really conclude anything from that"

Played a bit with Inqui, she does not dps really more than my warden ... we need faster recast on interogation ;-)

I am puzzled warden WDB is like 50% "naked" (25 from battlepriest and 25 from lithany)
and Inqui only have 25%. Happy to have a second group heal, still 96 so i cannot test it.

She has 10 ranks in "Severe judgement" which should provide 0.32 (i.e 32% WDB) but it does not appears in the WDB amount. May be it is included, too lazy to change my aas and check weapon bonus.

I skilled Anghammarad to do healing not DPSing Tongue
For this I have chosen the equip he is wearing. Mostly heroic stuff.

I tried DPSing with his equip, even with another AA Setup... it wasn't fun... he didn't do DPS and couldn't heal as before. So I switched back to full healing and Verdicting.

Right now in live doing Ages End x2 EM I got about 390k hps as solo healer for my group as highest.

With that AA skillset and equip I did the timelines on Beta, as well as healing stuff.

What matters is, will Divine Waters be a valuable end-line tool @ 100 for Clerics, able to stand up with the likes of Equilibrium, Immaculate Revival, Perseverance of the Divine, Fanatical Protection, and Prepared Defenses for useful utility?

That answer is Yes.
