Swashy needs some updates

1. As it has been said repeatedly in forum, swashy's single target dps is terrible. It is not changed until today. Because swashy is AE oriented class so it is not necessary that its single target DPS is uber. But it does not mean same level with fighters or support classes is enough.
My suggestion is to introduce new mechanic like negative void + void retribution of warlock. Swashy needs boost to work better as dps class in single target fight. New xpac is good opportunity to take a balance.

2. Please add fervor overcap component to marauder's vaunt. There seems to be more fervor-capped chance in CD than PoP.

3. Please a bit empower AA granted abilities. Though it is not unique to swashy, due to the improvement of profession ability in PoP, AA abilities are relatively outdated.For example, Dance of metal, Enfeebling Whirl, Dragonwrath, etc..

We need to get rid of the T2 dps thing, like the summoners once had from the caster side of DPS. There are only 2 classes held back by this and its swash and brig, (mostly swash). I'm sorry but even with ascensions, we still can't compete in a raid / group setting and its not fair after all this time.

Sorry to say it, but conjurors are currently T2 DPS, UNLESS you get the mage group and the exact right buffs. If they stick you in the OT group as a conjy for your Fireseed fervor buff and stoneskins with no buffs, you do less DPS than most healers. /sigh.

Then you remember that conj's have a overpowered dodge chance AA if you spec left side prestige, and the ability for you to put both a troub for magical stoneskins and the conj stoneskin AA in the same group to have double protection, plus fervor from fireseeds all while putting out good dps and the potential to be a t1 when the extra protection isn't' needed.

Also to imply that "UNLESS you get the mage group and the exact right buffs" is comical, because any unbuffed "tier 1" is going to parse like garbage, this game is about buffs, always has, always will be. You can buff a brigand to the nines right now and they will beat subpar tier 1.

If anything conj's shouldn't be the top parser /shrug.

Yep because raidwide fervor, grp adc temps and grp reset is lousy....

Not to mention they can throw down with the best on ae

We did it in SF/DoV a lot when turning our mage group into a tank group with a shadowknight, throw the conj in there and then you have stoneskin song essentially.

Harmonization increases duration of temps, plus you could jcap the sk for more tempage, this was when reuse wasn't capped of course, but back in CoE-AoM when scouts were just max hp debuff bots too we were gonna do that if max hp debuffs got axed because that was the only thing keeping us from running 3 troubs and 1 dirge~

Back then warlock's were also the best main tank mage because of the beneficial duration increase's.

Through the last couple of years there's been a couple of whine threads about swashies singletarget dps. I agree that it's not the best and it shouldn't be. They are among the best on aoe fights and they contribute with some great grp and raid buffs. Stop whining and start playing the class as it was meant to be played. If it doesn't suit you pick another class.
