On The Edge and Over The Edge

On the first encounter of the zone, Sarinich, he kept on casting On The Edge which was an incurable curse and seemed to be intended and completely managable. However, we were getting what appeared to be the alternate version of this spell called Over The Edge which decreases potency and crit bonus by 150 and rapidly drains power. We could not figure out what was causing Over The Edge but it seemed very much like a fail effect for not executing the script correctly but there was no indication of what was the correct way to kill the mob. There was no emote, red text, or hint on the description of the curse. We eventually just powered through it but it'd be nice to have the script be more intuitive or if Over The Edge is intended it needs to be severely toned down so it is more in line with the rest of the zone's difficulty.
