Well here I am back at work.. Monday afternoon after spending 5 awesome days in Vegas.  My first time and Vegas and my first Fan Faire.. and I just have to say WOW!  First I want to tip my hat to Brenlo... poor guy you were running your tail off but you still stood there and kept us entertained and going while all us crazy people were all lined up waiting to get our badges waaaaay earlier than we should have been Thursday afternoon.   Thanks for all that megaphone time.

I spent alot of time over at the SWG booth Thursday, since I knew alot of those red names and had the most gaming time in that game, and was really really impressed to see Valara, Hanse, Swede, Shadowbrak, Virrago, Teesquared, Blixtev, Dotanuki, and the many other devs and coding team members (sorry I'm terrible with names) I spoke to as we talked, pulled out notepads and start jotting down overlooked but easy to fix bugs and issues, along with taking notes on ideas we were suggesting.  It really made comming out feel that little bit more special to feel like I was getting to contribute a little bit to that game I've played and loved for so long.

Thanks to the SOE Denver team for your outstanding patience trying to get us up to speed on the SWG:TCG.  Having a blast playing it when I got home and telling my buddies about it.  Those little differences betwen this and LON really makes it a cool new niche.  I'm looking forward to being able to get some boosters and trying to get some serious IG-88 action going.  I was at your first LON panel, sorry you had to much trouble trying to get going and fighting with the lights, but after the 4 panels I went to about the two card games, even having been a LON player before, I left with some new knowledge and a better understanding of the game.

Also wanted to thank Laikas for bringing my stick figure she drew and hanging out with me in the Conrad room and at the banquet, had a great time chatting with you.  Hope your didn't end up getting sick and delaying your surgery.  Get better soon!

All the SOE team, I know you put so many hours in behind those closed doors, doing things getting ready and cleaning up after us, thanks for all the hard work.  You made an absoultely wonderful weekend and I'm already looking forward to next year.  Moonlite, I meant to say hello.. we seemed to keep missing each other, even with the some of the SOE team pointing me in your direction (glad I could remember your real name, I kept getting... Moonlite.. who? lol).  You guys were so great, everyone was so friendly and despite being so tired would stop and have a quick chat about these games we spend so much time playing, it really made a great experince that I'll remember for a long time.

Thanks SOE!  See you next year!

Definately, I had such a good time and it was amazing to see all the people show up and hear the exclusive "gamer talk" that you can't hear anywhere else but between gamers.  So as long as there is a Fan Faire, I'm comming out!  Oh, and I actually captured two credit spammers sitting there at the computers in the Conrad room, had a little SOE crew cheer as the spammer text flew up, fun times SMILEY
