No option provided to cancel EQ2 subscription - only extend.  I was only able to delete past credit cards - not the current one associated with my current billing account.

Let me be clear - I don't give a crap about SOE's apology and I notified my bank 2 weeks ago to stop any future charges coming from SOE.

But the manner in which SOE has denied me the ability to cancel my subscription and remove my personal financial information from it's database will FOREVER mean that I will never subscribe or pay for another SOE product again.

Put that in your rice pipe and smoke it

at the top of the forums click the my account link and sign in.

click the subscriptions info tab.

halfway down the tab it has what your sub currently is, as well as a cancel button and a change button.

how much easier does it need to be?

if you cant figure something this simple out it makes me wonder how you even managed to sign up for the account to begin with lol

I reported any card associated with SOE lost/missing the moment the servers went down.  Its game cards from here on out.

The bank cancelled my card after notifying me it had been skimmed and used by a third party.

Coincidence? I don't know, but I haven't replaced my details yet.

The OP is right on 2 of my accounts it just lets me delete the cc info but on the third it dosent all I get is a update button no delete so guess I need to call soe to fix this.

The reason is because the card expired and it wont remove it till it is updated humm.

Anyway.

Currently were getting some free game time, if youve changed your CC information or in any other way isnt paying for the subscription, then you cannot cancel it. Might be the case here.

Btw can i have your stuff?

Same here.  THE DAY they brought the servers down, my VISA card company called me and said someone with a counterfeit of my card tried to swipe it at a cash register 3 states away.  They issued me new cards.

If you are unable to to cancel through the website, then call SOE or use their live chat function.  Both work great.  Go the extra step before forum raging.

You obviously have absolutely no clue as to what skimming is else you would not have even brought it up in relation to a security breach that involved a company that has never had physical access to your card.

Thank you Mr Know it All. My card was 'skimmed' in Perth which funnily enough is a state I have never been to.

no your card saw skimmed locally - think back what or the such you last used your card at - basicly anyplace you surrender the card to a persona and they walk away from you to complete the charge. then number was sold or posted under the table (there numerous underground sites that will post the numbers) and it was used in Perth

The quickest way, until we fix the problem together, would be to contact our support directly to cancel.
