![]() I could not kill FROST. I tried everything - was told by others to inturrupt his spell (piledrive) and attack one of the pillars - none of the pillars were attackable when I inturrped his casting - couldnt target anything cept Frost - actually could run right thru the pillars. If this is suppose to be a solo instance - I think it needs to be a little more tuned for more than melee classes that have inturrupt CAs and if a pillar does become active to knock down - maybe a little indication that actually is happening. |

![]() There will soon be an item that you can toss at Frost when he's casting Pile Driver to interrupt it. That will cause a random pillar to become targetable, thus attackable. -Chrol |

![]() The entrance could do with a bit of text to differentiate between [Solo] & [Heroic] instead of 2 that say the same thing |

(This was after tonight's update, not sure if it made a difference from when this was posted earlier today.) Expand the width of the window and you'll see they have Advanced Solo and the other Heroic at the end. That said, maybe default these windows to better scale with zone names.

![]() Frost is not soloable.
Now I can understand challenges, puzzles, hoops to jump through, the dance of tactics. I understood when I killed the Name fire type mob, that I would need to take out the adds he called then Focus back on him.
But the Frost guy?
First I had no clue, I experimented with the dropped interrupt items And got the pillar message, but thought I had to target the pillar and destroy that. By the time I figured out that all I had to do was just interrupt him each time till all his pillars were down, I was down to 4 of those dropped interrupt items. I thought that would be enough but NO….even after the pillar were gone, he regained health and did his aoe spell again.
I will try one more time tonight and see if I use all the interrupt items on him IF I can take him down but he regained health after the last pillar. Matter of fact if I remember right even thou I interrupted him and made a pillar disappear he still regained health after each step.
I am using a S.S. healer merc, I have mostly 170 stat gear but as this encounter stands AS IS most people are not going to be able to do it.
challenges, puzzles, hoops to jump through, the dance of tactics are fun when you can figure them out, frustrating when they don’t work right or you cant figure it out, AND a mob that keeps regaining full health is a pain

![]() ok tried him again, this time his hit box was smaller ( thank you) so I did not run so far back from him to bow hit him. used the items that dropped and after all pillars were down, he went down too. very enjoyable encounters so far. |
