![]() Here is how Time flagging worked... each player had to be flagged in a progressive order from top to bottom. By "flagged" I mean an autoupdate given for clearing the zone. If one player wasn't flagged, the entire raid force had to go back up the ladder and flag that player before they could proceed. ![]() |

![]() I wish it would be, but remember the trouble it was to flag for some of the planes till PoT with a 72 raid forces. I suppose with 24 it wouldnt be as bad but according to the comment it aint gonna be nowhere close to the old planes of power flaging. The concept was great however and probably some of the most unforgiven and enjoyable moment in the history of MMO in EQ1 not to omit the multi-phase split raid in Plane of Time untill the Gods and Quarm room. On a side note, other then the over inflating stats (witch will cause imbalances and many ways to legitly exploit mechanics) from what I have seen so far this expension look very promising, good job dev team. |

*Disclaimer* If I've missed anything incredibly obvious with ascension please point it out! *Disclaimer*
So a concern that I've had over past few days and have been putting some thought into around Ascension classes and their requirement for raids. Will mobs require say 4 of each class? Will they be doable if you have 0 of Ascension Class Y etc. Lets say for example I have a guild with 28 people, and I evenly divide it so we have 7 of each Ascension class. Result, perfect perhaps. Now we hit a bad month and a Dirge, Fury and Assassin all leave, and these 3 were all elementalists. We recruit 3 new people but they are all other ascension classes. 2 weeks later a SK and Templar move on, losing 2 more elementalists. We then have only 2 Elementalists left on roster, and 26 others with the 3 other options. Will this then mean our raid progression will be halted until we either recruit a few more elementalists, or will we be forced to have someone else give up their current Ascension class to swap? This may be a moot point if maxing Ascension takes 1 week, but if its expected to be weeks/months, then it could pose a serious problem for some guilds in terms of recruitment. Finding certain classes is difficult enough already, but then finding class X who is also ascension class Y may be near impossible. |

![]() Very, VERY few raids will require all the ascension classes to defeat them. In fact only tier4 raids even use ascension classes. |

I can't stress this enough.... all guild leaders need to over recruit for this expansion! You need to have people on the bench or else it will halt your raid progression in its tracks! Recruit, recruit, recruit!

![]() Not sure what "high pressure tactics" are. In my experience the "progressed guilds" post a recruitment thread and that's it. Website. App. There's no pursuit. As the matter of fact I know of MANY raiders that raid in server #1 or #2 guilds and also raid in small guilds on off nights. I'm one of them. The resolve is real! The combat mit is real! These fights are kinda brutal. They bring the pain. |
