Does the groupwide version of apply poison have the same restrictions that the single target version has?  This would prevent the proc from being able to be triggered by predators and rogues.  I never saw anything stating that it would remove those restrictions.

Swashes were given Daring Attack last time and yeah, it doesn't work on ranged auto or ranged ca's.  Guessing that's intended.

Don't know if it's the same thing with Assassin's Hemotoxin or if it's just the rule carrying over preventing predator's and rogues from seeing the effects.  I know assassin's aren't seeing any personal gain from it and I didn't get any benefit the other day when running Wurmbone's End with an assassin.

no, it's bugged or not intended to work off range.  i guess that would make sense, since assassin is a melee class thus buffs melee only but it should benefit range as well.

Assassin's Hemotoxin group buff does apply to the assassin as well, which does mean there is a gain out of it.

It makes sense that if the assassin is able to apply poison to another party member's weapon, that they'd be able to apply it to their own weapon as well.... However, since the poison is being applied to the "weapon" as stated in the skill description, it doesn't seem right that it would also work for a range weapon. The poison would have to be applied to the ammunition, right?

Not saying that I wouldn't mind also being able to also buff the range classes with Assassin's Hemotoxin.... but it does note that the group will inflict additional damage when using melee attacks.

So, a ranger will not get any benefit off the buff, unless they're using their close range attacks or happen to use a melee auto attack for whatever reason...

That's just arguing semantics, otherwise standard poisons wouldn't be able to be triggered with range attacks.  This should be fixed, along with granted another class, but spells like an illusionist's prismatic chaos can't be be triggered by ranged auto attack either.

They changed it so ranged abilities can trigger the procs on melee weapons, there's no reason they can't fix assassin's hemotoxin to apply to ranged attacks as well.

Arrows are a integral part of a bow being used as a weapon other wise you just have a blunt object with a string on it. Poison applies to the arrows, problem solved.

Holding it to some silly standard of 'reality' would be a huge precedent that would require TONS of things to get changed. Not to mention the whole bow proc on melee attack/melee proc on bow attack system we have now, amongst many othe things.
