knockback needs changed.. To a knockdown.  It is obnoxious.  It isnt challenging its annoying.

I'm now recording various fights with this cool video recorder utility (THANKS!)and i'll be posting them to show new potential players all the fun they can have unable to push buttons being thrown around a zone.

 Imagine yourself sitting at your desk and someone comes up and shoves you and you and your chair fall over backward and then sets you back up and then does it 6 more times in a row...

.. thats about how much fun it is, sorry if it seems hostile.. but i just popped a advil from being chain knock backed  around a zone. 

YOUR "GAME" just gave me a real life headache. 

 Please consider it .. at a minimum .. make it so it can't knock us more then 100meters per kb, so i u get kb'd 6 times in a row.. you cant go 600 meters????  i don't think that is unreasonable.

I agree with Typos on this issue.  It is a very senseless mechanich that serves no purpose other than to annoy people.

I despise anything that prevents the player from playing. How anyone thinks these are good ideas is beyond me.

What if we randomly made movie theaters lose power during movies? that would be fun wouldn't it?

I heard the next new feature the iPhone will have is that it will randomly be unable to make sound. People are gonna love it. 'works as intended'

I got this new car, it does this thing if your driving on the highway it just stops being a car. Probably gonna be the car/not a car of the year.

All these make just as much sense as flooding fights with control effects that make players unable to actually play.

Actually most of the problems you have are gernerally a learn to play issue.  I don't intend to be mean, I have just noticed when i gorup with most people I constanly see the tank and the other members standing in the middle of the road everytime they pull a large group of drakes or something.  The tank needs to know where to put his back on a pull, and the group needs to know how to stand according so they don't get knocked out of range.

AE interrupts on pulls can limit the knockback, as well as AE prevents and stuns/stifles from the group when in place.  A really low dps group will have more since they don't kill as fast.  Also if you don't target through a main assist and leave multiple mobs up you will get more KB.

Or if your problem is with KB you can't mass pull a contested zones, I think the KB is working as intended.

that's some decent advice. 

I understand your input.  Clever gameplay can slow down the "annoying".

You missed the point completly though.. and this is it.. Why does gameplay have to be annoying, a kb?? is 5 feet.. mission accomplished, dps is slowed and the tank needs to reposition.. why is kb throwing us across zones?  why are mobs warping after us?  and then kbing us again as were landing?

I have a few videos .. one is of me in pr locked ina corner .. just bouncing like mario on a mobs head.. land auto bounce land auto bounce land auto bounce, i wasnt on the ground for more then 8 seconds.

(i know you can lock yourself in a corner... )   what i'm saying is it's way out of hand.   tone it down.. a 20meter kb will be just fine.. It doesn't have to throw me out of shard of hate across nek forest and bounce me off my guild hall wall sin antonica.

Or the mob goes in the wall behind you and punts you out of your corner, then proceeds to warp across the zone after you and throw you back up in the air if you leave your auto attack on.. assuming you can toggle it and your not stunned stifled mezzed charmed, blind, deaf, /mob has a reactive damage shield that has a chance to reboot your computer. 

I like the reactive damage shield computer reboot myself.

Huge knockbacks was funny on the Enraged Wumpus for the Ranger epic. But yes it's gotten out of hand.

Try 2 tank in PvP environment,in some fight U hardly ever are up 2 cast anything...imunity 2 kb would be nice like 2s

But in raid well KB is part of strategy of the mob,preventing movment and making fight harder so I`m not convinced here.The raid as they are are already way 2 easy .

I don't know what your talking about for raiding.  I was mostly talking about heroic content.  This is what happen you grab a group of drakes, they drain your power , punt punt punt punt punt, you're in a corner and bouncing up and down unable to push buttons, then because there's not enough room around me some will go in the wall and kick me out of my corner and then across the zone.   This is just an example.

It wouldn't be as bad.. if they could keep the mobs out of walls.. But that's been around forever.. and i remember why they made it do that.  People were cheating and killing mobs from inside the zone walls.

Now see if they would use kb intelligently (IN RAID OR HIGH END HEROIC CONTENT) not just generic cut and paste onto every stinking mob?  It would be completly different.  Like someone failed a script?? fail effect is the mob now has a kb damage shield.  That is completly different you put it up to the players..........  see the difference?

dev's if you could just kb that guy who wants kb'd.. that would be great SMILEY  i personally like to be able to play my toon.

I don't find knock back, ups, over, around that much of an issue as long as they aren't chain cast. It is something you would expect out of dragon/giant/beat fight. However the stun/stifles are what kills the fun (i can't play the game) factor.

Did you really just use PR as an example of KB lol.. its an old raid zone ur soloing probably.. take 3 people with you and it won't hit you.. oh looked u just changed the dynamics lol.. the KB is annoying to the SS zones but as someone mentioned above there are plenty of walls and cubbies to pull into.. don't stand in the middle of the road when u know its gonna happen.. thats like knowing you're gonna get run over by a 18wheeler, but won't move lol.. common sense.. this game isn't that hard anymore since they've dumbed it way way way down..

Yeah i think in any fight that isn't designed around having more then one tank that has mobs that KB an immunity period should apply. Other than that i have no problem with knockbacks in general.
