/useabilityonplayer to work with pet?

I've been tyring to get this to work for awhile now.

Yes I know you can target pet with a slash command, but thats not hat I'm looking for.

/useabilityonplayer lets you use spells without changing targets, I was wondering if anyone can get it to work with a pet?

Yeah /useability doesnt work on pets, it will just tell you that they arent in your party / raid.

the pet ui i use has built in cures for pet (arcane and elemental) in the xml file... the cmds used to do this without changing target are:

clearabilityqueue ; cancel_spellcast ; target_pet ; useability XXXX ; target_previous

the change target appears to be instantanious as you never see your target change

now if you chuck all that in a macro it wont work...but.

make a macro that says

/do_file_commands C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIUIpet.txt

or whatever location you want to make the file.

then make the text document pet.txt in the location you put in the macro.

in this text document type

clearabilityqueue ; cancel_spellcast ; target_pet ; useability XXXX ; target_previous

seems to work fine
