I know it is an old zone, but it's still used for quests often enough, people still are leving crafters (several quests send you there), and sometimes people still make the occasional new alt. Why is there no griffon station at the docks? And can we get one someday?

If there are going to be any changes coming to intrazone travel in the future, I wish they would consider making the balloon rides in Moors instant.  I was sad when they made the clouds in KoS instant, but I really think I could live without the interminable balloon rides!

A dockside griffon would be lovely in TS as well.  Don't most other overland zones have transport near the common entrances?

Yes, I thought it was odd from the day they put them up in TS & Nek after a world event to build them. I smiled as it was the first advantage evils had over goods lol (Since it was harder to get to TS as evil and Nek as good in those days most of us leveled in the one closer to home).

Just let people choose from the world map exactly where they want to go so people can stop crying about travel and wasting dev time for such a worthless reason

I actually like not having a griffon on the docks of TS...it is one of my favorite zones and the largeness of the place has a certain appeal...

The original plan was to revamp Thundering Steppes and add a griffon station at the docks. However time ran out and so Butcherblock Mountains became the 20-35 zone. Unfortunately the dev who did all that work is no longer on the EQ2 team.
