Side by side, the rewards from the quest Demise of Dozekar pale in comparision to the rewards from earlier in the series. Considering Demise of Dozekar requires killing the boss of UD, it should award ranged items slightly better than the ones from the previous quest. Greens are @ 149int, sta, wis, str, agi etc.  Prior quest reward gives 159. Bonus/Potency are at 8.9. Prior quest reward is 9.5. What seems like it would be fair would be three main things. 1) Boost the stats to slightly higher than the prior one. 2) Give priests and mages a CHOICE between a Focus Ranged or a NON Spell Ranged version. Items can be identical otherwise.

Can't see your pictures but the fighter charm reward (second reward) was just silly in how low its stats were. My old tofs x2 charm was better.

Please, please, please let priests and mages choose between a symbol item and a focus item. I really don't understand the huge lack of symbols.. and the -two- I've seen (one unusable by priests, despite having int/wis/sta on it) were clearly inferior to the focus items.

I'm not sure what the third point was about but I totally agree with those suggestions. The fighter reward is ridiculous and was sold to the merchant right away. The priest item is sitting in my bank until it hopefully loses its focus effect.

Totally true and a way to pick between focus ranged and a normal symbol besides bidding stupidly high for the drop item from dozekar and balor would be amazing.

I see that the items from the OTHER endline quest were updated... why not this one? Right now the item it awards is worthless because the one given previously in the series is better. Sigh.

Not just previously in the series, but in a HEROIC quest vs a RAID quest.  the HEROIC reward is superior.  This should not be.

I'm surprised this hasn't got more attention. This reward is actually obtainable for a lot of guilds... the rewards for the Sevalak kill were upgraded right away... still waiting.

You also need to look at other ranged items that drop in these raid zones. I have gotten 2, one fighter/scout that has the same stats as the raid quest reward (which is less than the heroic one) and 1 priest focus ranged which again has lesser stats the heroic quest reward.

These are raid drops, which is worse than a heroc quest reward. These need to be looked at also, all ranged items.

Now last night we had thrown ranged item dropped which seem to have the correct stats, so not everything is incorrect, but they all need to be looked at.

The bow reward from the quest is way worse than one that dropped off an easy named a lot earlier in the raid zone,,,,which is just plain silly..

I'm using the dropped one and put the questline reward from killing the final boss of the zone into the appearance slot because of the glowing effect on the bow...not ideal

Kander can you please look into the drops from the challange mode instances? You guys upgraded some of the DP loot but the other instances need some fixing. Been a few threads about this with screen shots of the items.

I guess they technically "upgraded" these yesterday - they have 1.2 more cb and pot now, and about 20 more sta and agi (speaking purely from a scout standpoint) but they also took away all the AE Auto Attack. Dunno if this is the final upgrade or not.

I've bugged these items the first two weeks GU63 happened.  Since they were ignored/not fixed yet, I thought they were just mute drops in the raid zones. There might be a few in Sevalak Awakened raid zone that have the same issue.

Still plenty of time to level his transmuting skills up. You see the dates? Nothing in the way of update notes on live or test, this thread is going to go the way of the Drunder itemization threads. All hands on deck have been working furiously to fix the Poet Palace Dungeon Maker problem I'm sure.

Aye the bow is missing 12% AE autoattack before it's a full upgrade.

Seriously, trash drop bows from the zones are better than the quest reward drop for clearing the zone.  The scout and tank bow are not evenly matched either.  The tank drop bow has 11.1 cb and pot (tendon stringed bow of the flamecaller) but the scout equivelent bow has 8.9 (poison lords bow of shadows).  The bow from defeating Dozekar and completing the quest is not as good as the tank bow with 1 less cb, 1 less pot, 5 less crit chance, 8 less ma, 7 lower dr and 17 points less agility (Dracurian Recon Bow of Shadow).  The mastercrafted raid scout bow does not even have as much cb and pot as the common drop tank bow and it requires weeks if not months of collecting six parts valued at 1-2k p each and 18 days of researching with a hard to get raid apprentice to make.

While I am at it, the damage ratings on these are not even any better than the damage ratings on em bows from drunder, yet the 1h weapons all got a nice damage rating increase?

Jack unless you didn't know, forgot to mention or whatver the Renewing Bulwark on th eTendon-Stringed Bow of the Flamecaller is broken too. lol.

I got one for my scrub troub for a 50 plat alt bid in raid because, well quite frankly no one wanted the piece of garbage to start with, it was good enough for him replacing an EM Kael though.

The problem we have here is a refusal on their end to accept that whatever garbled pile of scripting the have that is putting the stats on these items is just flat out broken, and will not work.

@Kander I honestly believe that you have a desire to fix this, and I believe you can. The problem is your bosses do not want it fixed, they do not care, this has been clearly demonstrated over the past year. The thing is we were given a date here, plenty of time has elapsed for it to be fixed, but all we have gotten since then was a company wide effort to fix the Poets Palace DM zone and the SOEMote tripe and of course as always as reliable as the sun rising and setting, the weekly influx of new SC items.

I just forgot to mention it.  As a scout I was less concerned with the proc not working as I was with the fact I couldn't use the scout procs because the tank bow is better dps and I have to use it.  But you are correct, the ward does not renew itself making it useless.

I'm sure everyone has just forgotten about this thread and Friday's update notes for test clearly demonstrate why.

No progress made

No communication

Just the players affected by it left scratching their heads wondering if it is ever going to be fixed.

The only thing we got here is an acknowledgement of the problem, much more than all the other issues that remain untouched for months even over a year, or years.

But we at least got this onto test.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Fixed the text on the "Ally of Othmir" achievement.

Clearly one of the 'Historic' bugs that they were working on from the may update notes, I take back what I said elsewhere about little or no progress being made on anything in that list, this was a great step forward.
