Is this challenging? or is this stupid? We killed him, no problem. But SoE, come on. Your spell system is so stupid it makes me want to cry. Also, put a revive point in Icebound!

...i've never taken more than 4k from ice comet when tanking drayek...  Resists are always sky high (Potion, cold resist jewelry, warden/inquisitor/wizard combo in group).  He really doesn't get to cast often because of all the rogues and fighters using interrupts on him the whole fight, so he drops pretty quickly without much fuss

Yeah. It was just an insane number. I may have had half of my armor off. This was a fire drill situation. Still, something about the construction of the spell system alarms me.

Close to contested I agree, but within Instanced zones they shoudl have them.  But hey, if not it only makes up more valuable with Feign Death!

I think K'Dal is a pretty good arguement against revive spots in small instanced raid zones.

LET THE ZERG BEGIN!~

Oh, and Opaki quit being weaksauce, geez, it was only 29k SMILEY

As for revive points, let me rephrase: If you said you put them in all epic instances, make sure they're all there. As for Zerging: Wiping and trying again is not zerging. Bringing 30 people when the raid was meant for 24 would be. As for being weaksauce: Yeah, I am weaksauce.

to die and a revive point very very close (Icebound is very small) to the encounter makes the encounter too easy. if you die, well np, choose the rivive point, klick revive (with 100% hp and power btw), run to the mob (you will get your shard automaticly) and continue punching the mob.

that sounds like zerging to me

Adding a revive point in the zone would be fine as long as it is only usable after the entire raid is dead / encounter broken.  Can't be that hard to program can it?...

Oh yeah. If anything proves that I'm no zerg, it's that I would never even have considered such a zerg manuever. Anyhow, I do think there are probably starter raids that go there and wipe, without any opportunity for another shot. That's not even the case with contested mobs.

Drayek is one of the easier encounter. Np to tank it as a Brawler. If Dryek has the Ice Comet Spell (it depends - sometimes he has it sometimes not) the MT will probably die no matter what class (guardian or brawler)

Yep, the Zerg has definately been used on K'Dal. Only thing is you need to get him very low in health before you can even begin to attempt that else it's pointless.
