Best Weapon Combo For Lvl 20 Guardian

I've inspected a lot of high level guardians (including the one called Noah on Permafrost, the first Guardian in EQ2 since launch), and the ones with the best gear have all had the sword 'Berik, Sword of Thunder." I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get this quest. I've heard that it drops off of mobs in SH, but what mobs does it drop off of, and how rare is it?

Also, what suggestions do people have for right-side armor? (Meaning all your rings, necklaces, belts, etc., the armor on the right side of the item menu). I've been trying to find a lot of good equipment with + to STR but have so far been unsuccessful. Can anyone make some recommendations and where to get them? I think it'd be nice if the Guardian community could put together a list of the best weapons and armor for guardians at different levels...like a big list for present and future guardians to refer to, what the items are, where to get them, etc. Anyone want to back me up with this idea?

Ok, stupid question. Level 20 guardian, no sign of any green con skels on the first floor that I can solo (everything is grey).

What are my options now?

Also, could use information on a good shield. Looking at getting:

pristine conditioned ash kite shield (+3 INT +3 WIS +10health +11power) Armor 130 at lvl 20

pristine forged carbonite battle axe (int +1 agi +2 str +2 wis +1 health +13 power +7) damage 11-32 at lvl 20

While this is a major drop from the damage of my Halbred of Defense, it would drastically increase my damage taking power.

Suggestions or recommendations?

Please excuse my ignorance, as I have not yet reached 20. If you are going to use a shield, why would you use anything but a Tower Shield? Do they not provide the greatest defensive bonus?

Not to be rude or anything, but I think I should point out that this is the Guardian forum, so the fact that a Paladin cannot use is irrelevant.

Also, to add my own 2cp... I find it quite disturbing that Freeport Guardians get a very nice shield for completing their sub-class quest, and the Qeynos guys get some sucky 2-Hander... I am from Freeport and I love the hell out of my shield, but considering the class, I don't understand why the do-gooders get the shaft.

**NOTE** Although from a RP perspective, I don't mind. :smileywink:

I'm not objecting to it, I love my Halbred, it kicks some serious tail at 19/20, and I seem to be tanking just fine without a shield, but I have used one in the past and the extra armor that it generates is a very, very nice thing, which is why I'd like to hunt one down if at all possible.
