Having a 3rd faction for pvp i fine but give them a tower so they don't interfer with Just the Freeporters trying to win War Fields

See that's the issue. People are more concerned with miniscule things like this because they're greedy and want things handed to them. Exile is fine where they are. I can guarantee you the people who are in exile aren't there to go after a tower, and it's the least of their concern. They want to pvp and they want enjoyable pvp. They want to disrupt you while you're attempting to win your warfield. That's why they exile. They want to PVP against more players.

Exile is fine, they don't need anything for the warfields. I can guarantee even with how terrible PVP is now that we get more tokens than you do during a warfield.

and how many is that ?  i like getting 25tokens for a solo kill, but in a x4 do you get more then 1 per kill ?

What I got from this is you want them to put in something that you think (hope?) would distract the exiles so that the faction x10s can run in and obliterate the towers in 2 minutes like they do when the exiles aren't there so that you can call home with your free tokens faster.

Honestly, the whole idea of warfields needs to be scrapped/redone.  As it stands they are all about who does the most DPS while completely ignoring the other faction.  The exiles provide a check, somewhat, against this.  Watching 2 factions completely ignore each other at Fens tower when they are literally right next to each other in order to kill the towers is terrible and really shows what the people are actually there for (free tokens) as opposed to being there for PvP, which is what the WFs should be about.

No what I am hoping for is that SOmething will be done to cause the Exiles to be flaged just like Freeps and Q's are with not being able to fly Leap or Glide like the rest of us. And Something that will make iot a more even playing field for freeps as since when we go into a war firld we have to fight both the q and exile who are not fighting each other untill all the freeps are dead at the Ant Tower in Fens that the freeps have to tear down. WHile Displaced lets the Q's tear down the Freep tower in Fens area with out engaging them

We get Flaged by the tower but at the end of the warfield we get no reward.Your right we kinda get to pick who will win the warfield if we wanted to. However the goal is to stop both factions.Key issue is to many people are worried about burning the towers for a reward but if they would zerg an remain around afterwards the reward in that would far surpass any reward givin via a "Warfield" and on that note Battlegrounds aswell.

Yes I do. The only reason there is an exile faction was an inbetween Freep and Q and Oynx used that to have the upper haqnd in Raiding over the city factions. As an Exile they should be no benefit since you don't have a city, just a dang hole in the earth. But since SoE  decide to give Exiles pvp armor and updates if they are going to be in the WF they should have to follow the same rule set as Freep's and Q's. Q's don't have to worry aboutr getting haultded by displaced untill after they blocked the freeps and only the freeps from the tower at fens, As I have seen at every WF I have gone to in KP. No we want a fair rule set for everyone so Exiles have a chance for the tie the loss and the wqin just like Freeps and Q's

Exiles do get flagged in WF's. While we don't get rewards, this flag prevents us from flying/leaping. Adding another tower will not prevent us (The people I play with) from actively PvPing in a zonewide event designed for you know..PvPing. The only reason you want a tower added is because you have this strange hope that it will distract us from killing all of the mindless drones zerging the towers and keep us away from your precious rewards. Hint: 1. Organization 2. Less zerging 3. Press your CA's on players, not towers.

NO I have this strange Idea that if you are going to be able to get pvp rewards and wear pvp armor then you might as well have a chance of winning wf.But hell Ya Get rid of War fields make pvp hot zones for the day, Bonus tokens for group pvp kill streaks starting at 10 not Raided Kill streaks that way you can gain Fame not just lose it as you are not able to get fame in a raid.

You just got rolled by organized players. Perhaps if you were organized too, you would not get /trained. 

Soe cannot help your duo/trio against more organized players in a full x4 that know each other and have full voice com. 

So buck up, Form up and pwn them right back

THat is not Quoted from me Dude so please don't take contect out of my post to make it sound like something it isn't to try to make you look like you are smarter than you are.. And how is fighting against two x3 to x4  raids as even a single x4 getting  rolled by organized players. Not its called Since Displaced started as an exile guild then went Q side and then going back to exile all they are Homeless Q's that will only FIght Q's when there is no one else left to fight.

I got a great idea, how about soe should make it to where when 1 group of 46 exiles rolls like 40 Q's and freeps in antonica they should not be able to come out on there 90's and kill us just cause there exile. I mean I know we are 46 but 40v6 thats like 6 people per exile so........ya.......get better

Let's see... 6 people per group, you can have a maximum of 4 groups in a raid, think that equals 24 total people. So yea, Displaced actually rolls you all with 24 people. Not sure how you get 40. Jacquotte nailed it, though. We are very organized. But do not get down on yourself. You can do the same exact thing on the faction side. We do not care about towers. We do not care about the fames. We just love to put our dukes up and punch people in the face. The more the merrier. Stop with the exile hatred in 2012.

Now THAT  is funny. Especially since there is no neccessity to get flagged in the first place which is why exileds stay away from buff range of the towers AND leap around ( etc.. ) just as they did before.  Sure, when you get your x3 +  all sorted out you don't mind getting flagged  but, without mentioning any names, you will never catch a certain swash / dirge duo anywhere near that buff range as they enjoy their little leapers near rezz areas and travel posts.  I would also like to point out that while alot of the exiled posters here keep claiming that it's harder for them because they are fighting two factions your blatently overlooking the obvious fact that so are the other two factions whenever the exiled faction is around.   Granted, the biggest difference at the moment is the fact that Freeps are severely outnumbered by Q's so there is pretty much no point in even going there as a freep.  Open world?  LOL   cricket cricket  cricket

The real question of this topic should be: Why hasn't SOE removed warfields from pvp servers?

They're choking open world pvp. People only want to come out every 2 hours now to find pvp because of the current system. Remove warfields, remove the AA slider = force people to go out into open zones to quest = more pvp in open zones.

why should the devs break the AA system just so you can have more targets in pvp? If pvp is bad on your server then work as a community on your server to orgainize pvp events. it worked in SWG it can work here. you jsut need to put in some effort instead of expecting others to do so for you

My oppinion matters just as much as yours or his regardless of server. he has perfectly viable options to pursue in regards to pvp. If he wants more world pvp then ask the devs to make it easier to find enemy/friendly in the world itself.

In SWG they had a sector system which could be easily adapted to the pvp servers. basically they make dozens of sectors for each area give the players tools to report where enemy players are instead of trying to force people to be vulnerable to attack at any time.

next he'll be asking to allow opposing factions to enter someone's house regardless of privacy settings.

give them towers or remove WFs, but tbh I kindof like getting 60/90/150 free tokens every 2 hours because I'm lazy like that.

as it is now exile = organized zerg vs semi organized Qs vs unorganized FPs equals exile win because a stacked group will always have the upper hand vs an unstacked group even more so if all members of one team have played together for a few years and with a leader giving directions. it's utopic to assume that a pick up group or raid will have close to the same performance. it's also utopic to assume that the political situation on nagafen will change, some people don't group with others because of guild affiliation and so on. General_Info, there is no community on Nagafen.

speaking of WFs, kylong gets boring after 3 years, change WF locations, maybe even randomly. you've just added hotzones with this patch might aswell add or remove towers.

Exiles are fine they dont need a tower it wont make a diffrence.

SOE you did good giving exiles viable in pvp dont listem to them about giving them towers.

Exile's make pvp more fun, always have been, leave them alone. I don't see one thing they are bothering except the fact that they got the details down. I see a style in some pvp guilds I don't see from hardly any guilds anymore, which is teamwork. It used to be second nature to assist, carry immunities, and be very mindful of your surroundings. When WF showed up it went into this mindless aoe close your eyes and hope for the best style. The idea that a whole entire group or more actually thinks together and are a faction against everyone and still can win should make you feel the need to set your standards higher not complain about it.

I personally believe that exiles are killing of the pvp by themselves.... Due to them being so far above everyone when it comes to organization and the fact that the only reason TO be exile is to pvp atm... Reason why alot of people on nagafen would rather go BG then go open world is because many dont like bashing their faces against x3's/x4's and lag the entire time while doing it... By exiles being the best at PVP atm and having a large percentage of the playerbase thats serious about pvp, not many people are going to bother to go out and deal with that when BG's easier/different to play.. I personally feel they should change up WFs and make it something that all three factions can compete against because as it is now people will still go get flagged then go afk either out of laziness, lag issues, or overwhelming numbers against them and if WFs are gotten rid of there wont even be the small pvp that there is now imo

Most of you all are completly devoid of any sense of how PVP used to work or should work. First, those who say we stay out of range so we can jump on mounts and fly around, look before making a dumb statement, 90% of us use ground mounts at ALL times when we PVP. 2nd, if all of you havent noticed they implemented PVP hotzones (which currently allows you fly and jump no matter what and we STILL use ground mounts) instead of trying to PVE to get your tokens and PVP GEAR, why not try to actually PVP for it? Also, you see us x3-x4 flagged and think "look at those scrubs have to raid PVP" well we only have to do it cause we are fighting much higher numbers than an x4 and to avoid killing each other while doing this we have to raid up.

The OP is obviously a PVE player and has no intention of actually PVPing on a PVP server.

Ive already asked for them to remove BG's from Nagafen and let the PVE servers have em. We should only have the option to get PVP tokens and gear from open world PVP. I didnt roll on this server to grind BG's and fight PVE mobs on towers. I rolled on this server to kill noobs who prefer to grind Bg's and fight PVE mobs on towers...

Heh I am just thankful for body drops back.. I avoid that mess out in KP like the plague. Was fun for a bit til I saw familiar FP names now exile.. and I saw Q's doing large numbers, and Exiles doing large numbers.. and a /who on my side would should 11 or so people.

For FP it really is an excercise in futility atm. But I get plenty of solo kills. Don't like the state of the WF's? The just don't go lol. 60 tokens for 40mins and a loss? Please; you will kill more enemies solo in that time frame. It is a cluster F#$% and we all knew it would be with new PVP gear, the faction jumpers were gonna go where it was easiest to get tokens. It happens every single time, there was no surprise (or at least shouldn't have been for anyone).

This is a three faction game and it never made sense that exiles did not get rewards for PVPing. People just need to man up and know when and where to face the odds.. and warfields is not the place if you are worried about dying lol.

rename this thread "When will I get organized and be able to do something in warfields against the exiles" please.

Just know that when exiles are out that you better be on your game, I like displaced as its like the only challenging group of people to fight on the server.  Yes, they can be killed, its possible, even displaced people know that they arent invincible. Get in vent/VC, organize your group/friends and be tactical. Its that simple, you arent killing NPCs these are players with actual responses to what you are doing. embrace the difficulty in game play and stop asking to throttle it, its just gonna make people quit. If you roll out there with a solid group you can take out an X2 if you are smart about what you are doing, if you aren't you die. Once again, tactics, organization will win you the game instead of not having pvp gear on, be grateful for that.
