If you are going to be in Austin on September 4th and find yourself hankering for some fine barbeque and great conversation, come on down to Rudy's in Northwest Austin and hang out with the SOE Community Relations Team!  The gang will be in town for AGDC, so head on over and meet the community folks from your favorite SOE games and share a rack of Rudy's delicious ribs with them!

  • What: Community Meet & Greet BYOB (Buy Your Own BBQ!)
  • Where: Rudy's BBQ, 11570 Research Blvd., Austin, TX.   (Northwest Austin)
  • When: 7:00 p.m. CDT, September 4th

See you there!

So there is a large Dev community for SOE in Austin?

I thought they all lived in California?

Ah well, if I had vacation time or personal days I might have made it as I live 100 miles east of Dallas, but alas, I need to save up for a gaming computer, and a desk that does not make my left pinky go numb.

EQ2 devs work in San Diego but SoE has other games based in Austin like SWG.  So the majority of people that will be there will be SWG folk.

And the DC MMO people as well.  When can we learn more about the DC Comics MMO?
