New imbued junk

Anyone actually using any? I know those Hex dolls have some nice stat increases but the 8 sec cast time kills them. Anyone tried a disease wand? Im thinking of grabbing one tonight. All the armor looks next to useless for us though, 5% chance to proc a heal whoopty doo.

Actually, I find them very nice! :smileyhappy:

As a level 30, 2 dolls with +11 int, and a new imbued wand that is +10int now ... I'm a very happy mage!

The snare and the slow dolls are cool to use as well. Haven't imbued my armor, tho... that does seem a tad useless for a mage.. but, oh well. I'm a conjuror, so the long casting time on the wand fits in nicely in between dots :smileytongue:

if i understand correctly the wands are just rechargeable nuke sticks, the armor is the stuff that only works if you get hit, weapons if you hit the mob

Pristine poison imbued oak wand:

+10 Int +3 Agi +4 Str +2 Wis +26 HP +26 Power

10-31 at lvl40

Skill 150 to use, 200 to master

Casts Poison Bolt

inflicts 195-326 damage on target (al level 3 SMILEY

NOTE: Cast time is like 8 seconds, it does 200-300 damage, but it uses NO power.

The simple fact of a 300dam nuke that uses no power is a life saver in itself.

There is no cast retimer, so you can cast one after the other.

Pristine chaos imbued cloth hex doll:

+11 Int

Casts Hex of Chaos

decreases mitigation of target vs all magical damage by 107

NOTE: Same huge cast time.. i don't see this as being very useful.

Yup very nice indeed I got my Disease wand today :smileytongue: I still have yet to find anyone to make me a couple Hex dolls though /cry wish they would shorten that 8 second cast time on the dolls that long of a cast time prett much renders them useless unless you are just playing around

You pay for the infinite charges and NO power usage by having a very long cast time.

Is a combo I really like to be honest. Have already used it during a big fight when out of power, and was a life saver.

plus the dolls give you +12 int without having to charge it....and it takes up an activatable slot which is even better.

I made 2 of the imbued wands so far..a Pristine Frost Imbued Bone Wand and a Pristine Flame Imbued Bone Wand

both are absolutely amazing

I got one my lvl 19 Summoner and it does almost twice the damage of his highest nuke and the other is on my 12 sorcerer which i must say is extremely nice as well

and I thought I would never find a use for Severed Bone besides 16 slot boxes : )

Mmm... I'd never call my (+12 int +36 power) raid/kite nuke cedar wand "junk".

Did anyone mention you don't need to be stationary to fire it off? Uninterruptable!

My Pristine Poison Imbued Cedar Wand only has 7 int. Do some have more int than others? This seems a little broken. I could have sworn I read in a patch message that all cedar wands got their int buffed. I guess not all of them did.

for some reason, the poison wands didn't make it with the rest of them. however, a dev has affirmed that this is a bug and will be fixed. i'd expect it very soon as they usually try to fix obvious bugs like that with their LUs

Dolls great to push up Agi and Sta (and no you dont need or want any int for reason very simple - it capped at 200 and its rather easy to hit cap w/o dolls buff is 46int, Torbin Eyepatch 11int, GEBs 11int, ROI 5int, Pants 9int, Bracer(s) at least 7int, neck is 8-11 int, earring 7-9int, forearm 11int, offhand +10-14int, prime hand 6-25int so we are talking about +150 int to your base easy. Presence ANY other caster in group (summoners, wizard, enchanters) will boost your int +46 more)

Wands are nice specially for kiting (uniteruptiable) but do not imbue em with posion or disease. On countary use imbue to gain access to different resistance field. Best imo is Magic and Tought Imbued wands

not neccesarily, we debuff poison and disease resist, so if you're looking to kite then poison and disease wands are probably what you want.

I'm lovin' the imbued stuff. I currently have 2 +10 int hex rukas dolls, Disease imbued Oak wand +10 int, imbued (rare) architects bloomers (+7 int?), and the imbued (rare) cloth blouse. No complaints here. Good stuff IMHO.

heh i just got a cedar today....i would get a wand but im doing darathar on sat to get my prismatic so no point in me wasting a cedar on that when i can get some money.

but +12 int on a wand is nice if you dont have prismatic and can be lucky enough to get a cedar

Personally I love my imbued robe - its the T4 version but a lvl40 it procs a 45hp per tick heal for 10 or so ticks - saved my life many times. The proc seems dependant on how many times you're hit but now with all these new _ groups that are easily soloed it procs pretty often. Its worth paying a bit extra to get the rare robe as well, the stats are as good as any other robe i've seen for the tier.

The hex dolls are good for the stat bonus, you can kinda kite with the shadow hex & it makes running away easier but the cast time is a pain. I can't see much use for the wands tho, our nukes our much better, the only good thing is you can cast while running. My sister is a necro tho & loves her one - its the best nuke she's got!

Is INT definitely capped at 200? If so, I'll sell the second chaos doll a guildie is making for me. Then, when I get the +25 int prismatic weapon, I can go and upgrade some of my other +INT armor to get other abilities, like +STR or +AGI.

Well, yes. =) ... I heard over 200 INT, you only gain .5 power per INT point.

i currently have 248 INT self buffed with one INT ring

anyways i did a test...i had 235 int when i used the ring and buffed up to 248 i got about 22 power for 13 INT

I have pristine imbued roughspun blouse and the heal proc has saved my life more then once. (need to find a dandelion so I can upgrade) Have seen mob die from hitting me and the proc on legs going off. I have tier 4 imbued armor and a disease wand. The heal proc on the armor has saved my life while soloing several times. The no-power non-interruptable nuke is also worth its weight in gold. Has saved my group several times, has saved me when soloing several times, and has enabled me to get kills for writs when I can't cast anything else (zapped by enchanter mobs).

The offensivce proc on the armor, on the other hand, is somewhat worthless. Not enough damage.
