Contested mobs are fun however they have to come up with a better way of doing it. This last go around having all of the avatars in a single zone made the lag so bad that certain avatars were not able to be killed if multiple avatars were being fought at the same time.

The best way to lower the lag for avatars is instead of having the avatar spawn in the zone, have it so a portal will spawn instead. The portal will take you to a temporary zone where the avatar is. As long as their is an avatar up in the temporary zone anyone can zone in and out of the portal. This should lower the lag since the avatar will be the only mob in the zone and you wont have 3 different raids fighting 3 different avatars at the same time in the same zone.

So I have yet to see a contested raid mob. Any plans on bringing them in Gninja? What about avatars? Anything new?

I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but seeing that huge stabbing graphic in post after post is getting rather annoying. If you don't want to delete, at least make it about 1/4 size.

I was just taking the "..wipe the raid for a shiny..." concept to the next logical level and have the shiny kill the raid directly.
