That is sage advice indeed. I would think - one week later would be ideal, heh

Then everyone else is back to work and the game's running right.

Yep, always take the following day off, if any.

Yup, never count on launch too much room for error.  It will come back up, crash at least three times and then have patches daily through Friday.  May be good by the weekend.  No surprises, just how it is.  Happens with a lot of new computer changes not just to SOE.

If by update you mean we are sitting here watching and waiting while the forces of technology push hard toward an equitable conclusion for all? We are.  We do not yet have a reliable ETA, I am sorry to say. We DO see progress.

That's not fair. I imagine they are as stressed at the situation as many are at not playing.

I guess the sad part is the "community relations" is doing a poor job at relaying whats going on, we ask and get a stupid comment like that one....

Agreed.  I've had days from hell but a launch day has to take the cake. They started work today at midnight and its after 5 pm.  I'm sure they all wanna get this stuff online and go home to their families and their beds.  I can't see someone goofing off in this situation.

I learned not to take expansion release days off in EQLive. It just doesn't end well. What i would do at times is take a day or a week off after the expansion went live, and enjoyed it very much SMILEY except that one time with the roll backs.

As an earlier poster mentioned, it's nice to see a red name this time around, and thank you for all your hard work-if you're ever on AB swing by Gurtie's bar in New Halas, in the magical manors. The ale is on meSMILEY

Quote me if you will, but please don't do me the disservice of misquoting me.  As if I'd ever watch Twilight. Hah!

And yes, it's a game, but not "just" a game. We get that, believe me. EQII has been a big part of my life since beta, and it's more than just a game, it's our social environment, where our friends are, where we relax and enjoy a world beyond our own.  ;-)#

Oh lord! We'd end up with sparkly, see-through vampires and were-dwarves. Quick, someone jam all TV signals in to SOE HQ.
