I left eq2 in the beginning of 2006 and now come back to Norrath again. Bascially i am in T5 raid gears, mostly from old antonica raids and also some loots from Deserts. I have no AA. I know there were 3 new expasions launched after i left and it is a whole-new world now. I know my gears needs upgrades, and I need get necessary aa to be a capable healer again. But frankly after i loged in again, i am totally lost. in fact, I don't know where to begin. Maybe reroll a new char in Timorous deep is a good choice but i don't want to give up this char which i had put lots of time and energy. So, anyone can give me some guidances such as which zone is best zone for me to start lvling up and accumulate necessary aa. Any good quest series help me to upgrade gears,  Any factions i need to stick to and etc. Thanks a lot. BTW, mainly i will solo and duo before reaching 80.

AAs is easily gotten by completing quests, running around the world "discovering" places, turning in collections and by killing nameds the first time. Having no AAs, I would hope you get AA for all the places and kills you did before AAs where introduced, but I am unsure. Also, I doubt you will have any problems healing/killing without the AAs, though they do help SMILEY

Gearwise I would not worry too much, since the gearupgrades introduced in Rise of Kunark (the very latests expansion) is sick. Once you hit 66, or around that, just go to Kylong Plains and start doing the solo quests - the gear rewards from that is close to T7 raid equipment in many ways! Also, only a few afternoons in Kylong you will be level 70 and ready to move to Fens and then Kunzar for even more of these easy to do solo quests.

Not too sure about where to go. Sanctum of the Scaleborn (SoS) is an awesome place if you got a group. and a quite easy place to get a group. It is placed in Tenebrous Tangle, where you could do some soloing around your level too, i recon. To get to Tenebrous, take the spires from Antanonica or Commonlands. In Faydwer you could go to Lesser Faydark or Loping Planes, though it will be a journey for you to get there, and many quests there require a group (but not all).

The big problem is that for AAs you need to turn in quests at least green, grey quests don't give any AAs. So you need at best a "mentor-bot", a friend or whatever on whom you can mentor before turning in quests.

I brought my ranger with level 70 from 35 to 97 AAs, my second SK from 35 to 100,  i also grouped my 60 Bruiser who only had 20 AAs  from 1-70 with my Troub, however i only could do that because i have 2 accounts. In the end i would say, its easier and more fun to restart a char from scratch, then trying to get all the AAs from grey quests.

I also finally deleted my 60 dirge and 58 monk at 0 AAs

Same here.  I took my Swash off the shelf at 57 with no AAs at all, and brought him up to 100  (and level 70)  in a few weeks.   It's not that tough, and everywhere you go now - even if you visited it before - will give you discovery AA.   The patch notes have said that after 120 is when AA really slows down, but if you have that many, you are doing ok SMILEY

Well i wouldnt say starting a new char from scratch isnt fun, But having 0 AA's at lvl 60 is no reason to delete the char. Maybe just keep the warden on the shelf , while you get aquainted with the new systems from a new char.

Cant remember the lvl cap before they intoduced AA, 50 or 60? But you should be able to get your first 50 pretty quick just from discoveries .... Almost positive They reset all the discoveries for you, Your maps should be reblacked out . Grey named mobs dont give AA , But all quests still do , you just dont get as much when not mentored to appropriat lvl. You can also disable your combat xp if you want to build AA's faster .... I think? , im not sure, but i did build most of my AA's when i was capped , and every kill gave me some towards AA.

The Warden has become one of the most capable for soloing , especially with the mele build.

Oh ya , and we have druid rings to port to that get us around the world pretty fast.SMILEY

I just think if you remade a warden from scratch, you would find the lower lvls painful, till you get to some of the good stuff ... imo

You might want to read through the update notes .... But if you dont find your awnser there, We'll still be here ...with varied oppinions ...lol

best zones would be lesser fey, TT (Kingdom of skies first zone) and loping plains.  the faydwer zones have nice questlines while Kos ones involve a lot more, but give some decent xp.  Barren sky quest line is the best out of all 3 kos zones but u have to have some harvesting skill high to do it. From my uderstanding you can start Rok at 68.

Best way for xp pre70 is still dungeons so always lfg but while your waiting for  that good grp work on those solo quest lines..hell wardens can even do some of the Heriocs ones np.

I forgot to tell ya ... im a math whiz ....Doh!!! you said lvl 60 with no AA's , so right after you left they introduced em.

But you should be able to get your first 50 pretty quick just from discoveries .... Almost positive They reset all the discoveries for you, Your maps should be reblacked out .

Make sure you check out all the discoveries in the cities too.

The Warden has become one of the most capable for soloing , especially with the mele build.

We were still very capable when you left ... root nuke style ...wich is still the best way for the heavier content imo, mixed with mele for extreme uber SMILEY

I just think if you remade a warden from scratch, you would find the lower lvls painful, till you get to some of the good stuff ... imo

Meaning becuz you allready have made the warden to 60 , getting to some of those spells are the points im talking about ...im sure you would be saying " Doh!!! why did i delete em , if you did.

You might want to read through the update notes .... But if you dont find your awnsers there, We'll still be here ...with varied oppinions ...lol

Cuz its all good ...

PS: Iceriven2 is spot on the zones , sorry guess some of us were to lazy to awnser that question.

Hi, my warden brothers and sisters, thank you so much. Yesterday, i did some quests( repeatable) in TT of KOS and pretty quickly, i received more than 6aa. Very nice. it seems not so hard to get basic aa. I also made a new char ( a sanark fury) in Timorous Deep in order to experience some low level contents in the new zones. It's fun. I will level my two toons both at the same time so i can switch between them when my vitality downs to zero. It's good to come back!Last, wish you a merry "FrostFell" and a happy new year!
