Its just sad that people have to go through all these things just to get a kill.  I was in EL on my bruiser and there was a group of quenosians blocking the bell so nobody could get out.  Its very very irratating and they do the same thing in Sinking Sands.  Its not jsut one side that does it either its both and it needs to stop.

If you see it happening just /petition and you can usually get a GM to come and will force them to stop or start dishing out punishment.

They are not intentionally blocking the bell.It is that seagull on the post.  He is doing an Herbal Life presentation for all the others.

As a rule I am against nerfing.. But.. nerf that seagul if he is causing a blackage of the exit. Iam sure that is against all fire codes.

Yes, it sucks. Both sides do it and it still sucks. Very low class no matter what class you are.

I think a quick fix would be to just make it a real tall pole you can click on :0In SS as well...Maybe add a pole next to it, or have the carpet hover around?Everyone alwasy suggests running up to it in first person but it never works for me and I just end up dying.

Wait wait I got the best solution for the OP!  Instead of zoning into EL and zoning back out like a child  stay and fight!  All the freeps do is see a 6 v 6 and then go and sit on nek dock untill they bring in a full extra group that are exactly orange to the Q group then all 12+ of them zone in and act like big shots.  Of course they also rez zerg at the dock after the X2 + gets wiped out by the 6 man group.  So yea stop zoning into EL if you don't intend to PVP.  thanks bud!

Stay and fight?  Solo versus a whole group of yellow/oranges?  Yeah... you mean sit down and wait for the slaughter.  Grow up and find some real PvP, none of this camping zone-in and revive point bull.

Lol...zone hoping is another issue altogether. You know as soon as like 10 ppl show up all those zone blockers will just zone out themselves. They are just trying to kill a solo guy who happens to look in for small fights or to quest.

That is a perfect screenshot to add to a /petition. I highly suggest doing so.

There.. fixed. Shady tactics and cowardice are not hereditary by Faction. Only the most naive folks would really believe that.

See what titles have done to the game...

Groups of higher cons with titles who are hellbent on keeping them.

It's on all 3 sides. good, evil, and exile.

Remove the titles, bring back fun!

Im not entirely sure its just the titles although I'd wager them being a contributing factor.I pretty much chalk it up to human behavior.Though, the first few months of pvp on naggy was a bliss of carnage without abandon.

I fully agree. Titles do more to discourage PVP than actually encourage it.

Cheap tactic and I've seen it done.  I agree with the tall pole idea.  Perhaps another alternative would be just to eliminate all illusions in PVP.  I'm not sure it could be blocked then and if it could it would certainly take more folks to do it.

One can also use the dynamic camera, swirve it around so that you see the bell and click it. I did it all the time back when bell and carpet blocking were all the rage.

Sometimes you can't swerve the camera around enough.  That's when you find a Wizzy or Warlock in the right level range, one that looks tempting.  One that has manashield. And then you call somebody like Uncle Bloodfang, or another level 80 player.  And have them zone in after the enemies have made their attack.  Make sure they load fast, too.  Giggles all around.
