There are two tradeskill collections quests now on beta:
  1. Gardener's Supplies (this replaced the "Goblin Relics" collection that was removed early in beta)
  2. Gardener's Tools
The first is a normal red shiny collection, found mainly around the Nye'Caelona gardens but occasionally near Growf's little garden also.

The second is a little different; three of the collectibles are red shinies that must be collected, but the other four are obtained via quests (one as a reward from the collection above, the others from the gardening goblin).
Let me know if you had any problems completing these collections or with the rewards.

Before I make myself utterly crazed by searching more with the wrong alt, are there pre-reqs to seeing these (other than the solstice earring)? Does the Gardener's Supplies collection go invisible once you complete it? Are the Gardener's Tools scattered ... elsewhere, or are they also around the gardens?

I have a ton of alts at varying stages of completion of stuff, and I was using the one who had finished with the gardening goblin quests to vainly look for red shinies. I then realized that she was the one who had finished the Gardener's Supplies collection last week when it was visible for a day or so, and that it *may* explain why I can't find any red shinies out here at all now.

Well, that explains why I hadn't been able to find the rest of the Gardener's Tools collection, but leaves me perplexed as to why I can't find a single one of the Gardener's Supplies collection after a solid chunk of searching and tracking, after being able to find them handily in the gardens a few days ago. I'll keep a-scrounging. Thanks!

Can't see any red shinies in OF. Not in Nye'Caelona gardens nor near Growf's garden.
I've completed the TS timeline and I've my plant pot from Growf's quests.

If you completed the red shiny collection before the garden goblin came out you will be missing one of the collection pieces, from the red shiny collection you did earlier.

Feedback for Gardener's Tools reward:

is really cute Smile

But.. The animation is to.. uhm, the object movement is to fast with a very large angle. Even with very little movement they move to much, the result is not very aesthetic, to much confusion. seems they will broke in any moment, or broke everything close.... Should cut by at least 1/3, velocity and angle movement.

Still not seeing any red shinies for the first collection on my horde in the gardens in question, even with the ones done with "everything tradeskill" out there. If you need to check on a character specifically to see what's going on/not going on, use Triptych. BigGrin

Ditto what others are saying, no red shinies near Growf or in Gardens. Wearing my Solstice earring, have the goblin merc out, wearing my ugpraded cloak, all the superstitious things I can think of, but no luck.

Red shines spawning correctly now - both collections complete and a very nice reward - Thanks!

They are not in advanced solos. They are in a place that is perfectly safe for lowbie adventurers.

Fear not, Domino knows what life is like as a tradeskiller and has our backs...there may be some danger, but with caution and our wits, we can do what needs to be done. Everything you need is reachable by even the squishiest of squishies.

(Denmum even started a brand-new toon to show that things are doable on a super low-level toon: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq2/index.php?threads/testing-with-a-low-level-adventurer.573787/ )
