Is this quest broken? After I start it, Kerr Wanderroot is supposed to start repairing the stele and I am supposed to protect him.However, he never starts repairing, just stands there. Been running around the stele to see if there is an additional version of him spawned somewhere but still nothing.Is this quest bugged or is it actually possible to get him to start repairing somehow?

Randomly broken and Gninja has a hell of a time catching the bug.

Possible workarounds are:

- try to do it in another instance of WL

- delete quest, camp to self, get back quest

- delete quest, zone in leaderboards a couple of times, come back, get back quest

- don't delete quest, zone/camp to self, try again

So far the amount of /bug reports I've done has had a 0% fix rate.The ones I write on the forum about 50-70%. So I will stick to these forums since the devs at least read them.That being said I do use /bug often, but I am starting to lose faith in that system.

For what it's worth Pixie, they know the quest is bugged and they're trying to fix it. Unfortunately the size of the can of raid they're using is less then the amount of mean and sneaky this bug has so far.

This bug is existing only due to the heavy scripting and delays involved with the NPC.  Works best with one person hailing the NPC and taking the action to complete the script.  But what happens is the player sees the delays in script and leave, or another player hails the NPC in the meantime and then the zone trys to create the instance script within itself causing the zone not to know who is on first/first to hail. 

Might be best to just alter the quest to have players meet the NPC at another location a bit more away from the present location on the other side of the Steele for those involved in the script, and set the ambushing NPC to come from locations also away from the original NPC location. 

Oh well ....2 cents worth  hehheeee

This should be fixed as of today please let me know asap if you see it still having problems other than the 15sec delay for him to start the event.

The only issue now is this fix took so long i passed the next part where i need to talk to elder kionn since he is now dead.

So now "THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED" is broken and unable to be complete.

"The Road Less Travelled" should auto-complete once you reach the spot where kionn stood. He was also dead by the time I did this quest.

The fix for this quest should be on test now please try to break it! It should no longer pause for a long amount of time as well when you hail him and tell him you will protect him he should start moving immediately.

Would love to, but you wiped TestCopy! Both my level 92s on Test and AB have done this quest and recopying them ain't gonna undo it. I've lost the multiple older copies I could have used, and the buffers aren't up to make a new toon.

So there's no way I can test it, unless you want to hop on and respawn the buffers for us some time please.
