Lleeh, Gorowyn Heights Magical Manor, Gorowyn, AB Leader Boards: Rustic with a Modern Flair, Large Homes

Can you believe it?  I actually created a house without a single floor inlay!

This house has been underconstruction for a several months.  Between Skyshrine and way too many hours at work it took a long time to get it done.  Thanks Lleeh for your patience =)

For this house I decided to combine rustic and contemporary into a single structure.  One thing I relearned while decorating (as opposed to constructing the breakout structure) is that just because something looks good undecorated doesn't mean it will look good decorated.  I had a bunch of little area's that looked good independantly but just didn't work well together.  In the final phase of decoraing I dragged Hisvet & Jazabelle to see if they had the same feelings about it.  They did.  I simplifyed the wood textures and it really made a positive difference.  Thanks for the help.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by during construction!  ok... enough babble... onto the pictures! Where does that port take me? Views of the Structure The Deck Entrance Area The Kitchen The Bedroom

I love this so much! the railing you did looked so cool, the one that speperated the two rooms. I love how you did the cross pattern!

The other thing I loved was the kitchen! It took simple materials from lower teirs, and made them beautiful! great job!

This is a gorgeous house! I like how you used the table of torturous instruments in the kitchen. Your railing is also a great idea. Big congrats!

Beautifully done!  I love the curving staircase on the outside and the criss-cross railing inside.  I also really liked your kitchen with the matching table.

Brilliant

Beautiful work! I adore everything you do. Like the others, I love the outdoor curved staircase and crossed railing. The dining table is also wonderful. Will have to stop by for a visit!

I love this!   This is a great example of how the new building blocks can be used.  The entire house from outside to everyplace inside is a treat for the eyes.

I had to go tour it this morning. Beautiful!

I think my favorite thing is the kitchen table. I just love the way that looks.

I'm heading there now to tour.

Off topic a bit but Elayine...the house in your signature looks very nice.  Is it one that is tourable?

Edit:  I see that it generates more than one house picture.   I should ask then, are they tourable?

Just amazing. Especially the stairs and railing, and the way the different parts of the design floats naturally into each other. I like all your work, and this house is my favorite so far without a doubt.

On my tours  I visited your house and I think it is greatly done. I especially liked this new way how you did the kitchen counters and the kitchen over all. Great Desgin. Rustic and modern really met.

Greetings Mu!

Most of them are shots from older houses, none listed. I haven't done a lot of personal decorating since starting the site. Now that it's (mostly) up-to-date, I hope to get some projects done.

Thank you all very much!

It is rewarding to hear that most of the design elements that I really liked while making it (spiral stairs, railing, kitchen counters, table, etc) are what you all noticed!

Gorgeous house. Absolutely amazing... but no floor inlays? At all? *sniff* how am I supposed to steal them then?

You can always steal the one one from H&T!

I needed to challenge myself - actually, there is an inlay on the bar but its not a floor inlay and no floor inlays was the challenge I gave myself SMILEY

Your home is stunning in its artistic details! I love your staircase and (so perfectly rustic!) kitchen. Call me silly but thing that caught my eye the most was your roof. Can I borrow it's idea for my project?SMILEY

Bitsy, I've already told you how fabulous I find this house.

Another great job!

(And I promise to get to that kitchen... one day!)
