It displays a tank icon but heals like a beast. I used it on my zerker and it was spiking on the hate meter so it's def popping hate. It heals better than most mercs too (percentage heals versus numerical amount heals). It's the perfect merc. What class is it and how will we obtain it when ToT goes live?

Its a hybrid of a couple different classes. We didn't have an icon for that Smile

Hi Zues,

Are you talking about Delidrae or a different ToT merc?

Thanks!

What other merc is there in ToT? Delidrae doesn't heal very well. If there is another around I'd love to give it a shot. I can only clear Adv Solos with someone playing a healer, not with any of the healer mercs.

Hi Alphonsus,

I was confused by Zues' post as the Delidrae I tried yesterday was classed as a "Brigand", and is described as a "damaging" merc, on the CE/PE descriptions. So, you can imagine my surprise when Zues said she healed and taunted as I wouldn't expect a Brig to do that Smile ..

Does this mean Delidrae has changed since yesterday? I hope so and will keep my fingers crossed BigGrin

Did you read Gninja's post about that merc above? It's a mix, but there was no name for it. Still doesn't heal well enough to be viable.

Does this mean there are people actually in beta right now? Playing? If so....how on earth did you accomplish that?

Hi Alphonsus,

Respectfully, I believe we have a miscommunication here. Yes, I did read Gninja's post, but again, I asked for clarification because Delidrae I tested yesterday morning didn't heal or taunt. It was classed a Brigand, and used Brigand abilities:

This seemed reasonable given that the merc is described as a "damaging" merc, rather than a healer or tank.
Here was the heal parse for her at that time (no healing done):

...and was her for taunt parse (again, at that time):

I realize that things change rapidly on Beta, and that these changes aren't always reflected in the forums. I hope this helps you to understand why I was confused by Zues' post, and hope you'll concede that I wasn't simply being lazy, and had good reason to ask for more information.

Thank you,

They can tank?
Their dps went up compared with other mercs, but it's still abysmal to other PC?
They heal a bit better than old mercs?
They do rezz?
Their manareg is useless?

Give em an icon from dirges plix Wink

Its a mix of Brigand and Wizard with some group lifetap style abilities.

I'm back in Beta, testing Delidrae again...in the ToT overland zones, she's still only getting around 70-80k DPS, but seems to be taunting now able to hold aggro against a beta buffed Templar, and if she's healing (a whole 172 HPS...)...

I'm not sure what Zues saw in her, but I'm still not seeing anything spectacular Frown

Thanks Zues!

If possible, please try her against some other mercs, such as Kluuron if you have access to the that one too!

No way it could be a mix of any other DPS class and a swashbuckler, because it would really be useless then. =/

PS: help make the swashbuckler class "raid worthy"!
