Having to take half an hour every day only to log in 20 or more alts to talk to an npc to get your daily bubble will not be very fun. Especially as we will have to log in our friends and family when they are on holidays so that they did not get left behind.
I'd like - at least as there are more problems with this system - that we don't have to login every day to get our xp bubble. Put a system where the trainer remember the last time he gaves you an item and gives you the appropriate number of bubble acoording to the numbers of days that have past. If you don't want people to login only once a month you could add a limit to the maximum number of bubble it could gave you (7 days - 14 days). And if you want to reward people that login everyday add some additional xp to the first bubble you get. +10% xp would a nice bonus but not too hight so you could accept to login only once a week some alts. Also it would be nice to add a additional bonus to Gold Members, Receiving a double bubble would be good, but if you really want to limit the xp per day only add some additional xp when we consume a bubble or directly on the bubble we receive from the trainer. |

I do kind of agree with this..while I don't mind the metering of the xp this xpac, I don't like to feel like I need to pass around my account info when I take 2.5 weeks off in january for my vacation

I was thinking what if the chest accumulated these items for you. so if you log in 30 days after the xpac you either get 1 bauble that lets you farm 30mil xp or a stack of 30 1 million ones. this would also let people that swap toons half way through the xpac be able to log in and collect their mega bauble/stack and grind for a week to catch up.

I don`t mind the metering either, the issue I have with mechanics like this is bringing in new players. A new player is never going to want to stay once they find out they won`t be able to do the same things as a veteran player for _____ Months. Just does not seem like a good retention plan.

I actually like the aspect of doing something once per day. Adding the Ethereal coin daily quests was a huge success to get people back into the game again after it being dead for so long. This is another way to bring back life to some zones, so it actually seems populated. You can sometimes go an entire day doing questlines without seeing a soul. Now with these new requirements for Kunark Ascending it's nice seeing people logging in and doing something. Which I hope continues.

“How about double scrolls for Members ? ( would speed up the whole ascension leveling ).” Kander's answer: No. The above was in another thread on this. He did say there would be double ascension xp events and stuff like that and numbers can always be tweaked but they are not just going to allow people to get scrolls without logging in to get them or to just get double scrolls. I agree with people though that 1 million xp per day is stupid low. |

I seriously don't get why it's not just 1mil xp (or whatever number they feel like using) without having to get a bauble...Seems to make the whole thing extra tedious. It's not a big deal, but how many times do we have to say not a big deal? So far, we have resolve, greenmist, epic 1.0, languages, ascension taking forever to level, ascension requiring an extra step every day... All of these not a big deal things add up.
In the spirit of not sounding always like a grump, are we perhaps going to get ascension mentors available to guild halls? That would be sweet. Like how we have the deity altars and chrono mages and etc etc etc. |

Your right. They all do add up. Also wheres the planning for the next 5 years. I start a new toon tomorrow cause I decide to start raiding again and need to play it or lets say I dust the mystic off who I completed the quests on but no ascension on. What happens then? and what happens when next xpac after KA its 20 levels per ascension class. We don't have the information on this from the Dev's and the feedback shows the players are thinking about how it pans out long term but the dev's aren't coming to the table with great answers. I personaly feel that 3 month to get to level 10 is fine if thats all that you were going to do but to do this 4 times ! and its whole year.
My view is leave the 1 time level up to 10 as 3 month as it is now BUT ... when you hit 10 in 1 you are flagged for a tier 2 bauble say 1.5 mill ( 2.5 month to level ) when you hit 10 in 2 you are flagged for a tier 3 bauble say 2 mill ( 2 month to level ) when you hit 10 in 3 you are flagged for a tier 4 bauble say 2.5 mill ( 1.5 month to level ) Total to hit level 10 x 4 = 8 month , not epic long and not trivial either |

I don't think we "need" to master all ascension classes, after all, all ascension class mainly bring DPS. It is not like a healer could spec a "heal" ascention and a "dps" ascension, or a tank a "DPS" ascension and a "tank" one.

Unless Ascension combinations are so strong, any guild who raids needs to have people able to swap Ascension classes on a semi regular basis to sustain progress. |

I have a feeling that Ascension Synergies (which are not active in beta) are essential to raid progression.
Here is the thing. If it takes a whole YEAR to get all 4 mastered, why is there an item you can get when you master all 4? I mean, are we looking at an item that will be BIS for the next expac? Seriously? Devs: Can you please comment on the plan for how long it will take to master all 4 classes. Going off strict 1 bauble a day, it will take the whole year to master all 4. Is this intended? |

Time-gating things is fine, if it's a reasonable timeline.
Requiring players to do something mechanically awkward and annoying like physically logging in every alt every day to pick up a scroll is a terrible, terrible idea. I plead with you from the bottom of my heart: can we please get something more QoL-friendly implemented instead? This isn't just affecting alt lovers; as mentioned above, sharing acct info when on vacation is going to become common. This is just a huge messy headache for everyone. Make it accrue automatically like Vitality or something. Please. |

Similarly, there's no good reason to have a cap to tithe points earned before you have to spend them. These are cumbersome mechanics that are totally unnecessary. I would also suggest as a replacement to the scroll gating concept, a bonus to experience earned for players who log in consecutive days. Builds up to a set amount that gets reset when you miss a day, or something like that (if the reason behind having the scroll in the first place is to force people to at least log in more often.) |

Why can't this be a mail from the NPC once the relationship is established?
