![]() How many times have I heard that Warden is great for soloing because of their excellent runspeed (45% SOW with AA's). Well that advantage has been blasted away by every character and class. Ring of Swift Travel which is given free to everybody gives 70% run speed. What the heck? |

![]() You do realize that the ring only work in zones where you can ride a mount ? The ring is just a graphicless slow mount (70% vs 130%+ for ground mounts) and basicly useless except for true newbies. BTW Wardens are good soloer but runspeed has nothing to do with it. |

![]() Ever since they made mounts run incredibly fast, all classes with run speed buffs have looked minor and pointless in comparison |

![]() There's so much more to wardens than run speed. They are a great solo class, and great healers. Their defining trait is definitely not run speed. |

![]() If run speed was a 'defining trait' to any class, that'd have to be Bards. We just had it and it was nice. Back in The Day, it was only 25% max (pre-AA). Spirit of the Wolf never defined Wardens - Shamans get it too. |

![]() Wardens are healer/single target dpsers. Just like furys are healer/aoe dpsers, clerics are healer buffers, and shaman are healer debuffers. That is thei definition of the healer classes and druid subclasses. Look at the fast cast non healer abilities, they are all dps, not buff/debuffs like a clerics and shaman who have just enough dps spells to be able to solo. Well, at least until their dps damage was upped so that they would be more fun to solo instead of very painful like they used to. Unfortuneately they didnt bother uping wardens and fury's dps proportionally and have been too lazy to do it since. That is what defines us. Run speed was nice and still can be useful if no bard in a group in a mountless instance but otherwise, it has always been a nice fluff buff unless used in conjunction with the ability to not be rooted for training through a zone where mobs might try to root you. |
