Bug or a feature?

When I manage to summon my minions through that stupid text intreface and finally get to a good camp spot everything goes well aslong as I dont have to go for a bathroom break, smoke, evening walk and whatnot. When I finally have to go, I hit Pause and walk away from keyboard only to find out that all my minions are dead, dying or running away when I come back!! I mean if the Pause key is clearly bugged then why not add some AI to the minions?!

Also where do I get the spell that prevents my minions from picking up the loot? I cant even smite them so I could loot their inventory once im done adventuring!

Minions rofl

I have that same problem, the tank I bought in the store is pretty crappy, he always dies. And the Enchanter I bought doesn't mez, he just sits there leeching xp, must be bugged.
