Yes I know there is already a Templar Prestiege thread, I am also aware that the thread has been slightly derailed but I will be posting there to put in my 2c as to the effectiveness/desireablity of the Prestiege.  I'm starting this thread to make note of abilities that are BROKEN - AKA Not Procing/Triggering Properly.  So PLEASE keep all comentary out of this thread (Yes that includes you Avi).

I've been playing with Purification which says that it will reflect 5% of incoming magical damage that is less than 50% of the targets HP back on the attacker.  In watching the buff I have not seen the number of increments ever change even though I do show it returning damage to the mobs in my logs, but it almost looks like it's not returning the damage every time even though it's up.  Will try to get more solid information on what is actually happening with this one but since most damage is physical I'm not sure how useful it will really be.

Divine Protection's icon when examined in the effects winow after having proced on you with 1 point is confusing it says something like:

' applies 100% of the time '

' reduces damage to target by 45% '

' applies 33% of the time '

Not totally sure what that means unless it's indicating that at the time that it drops off it has a 33% chance to refresh itself even if sanctify is down.

Divine Protection at 1 point is just a display bug.

The 33% is the % chance it has to proc the damage reduction on the target.

Not seeing this bug at 2 & max points.

However since it's a % chance at lower tiers to even proc the damage reduction~ We really shouldn't even be seeing this buff unless it actually procs.

As I have been name dropped, I will make a pertinent reply.Remember last beta? I made it very clear, on numerous occasions, that so long as people address the new abilities, things would be good. But as soon as people start comparing AbilityA on ClassB vs AbilityX on ClassY, guess what happens? Class vs Class balance has been brought into the thread, and not by me.Last beta, there were several people who acted/posted as if ClassX vs ClassY discussion should be forbidden, unless it served to benefit Templars (then it was OK!!). That is unacceptable. These are discussion boards. If people discuss something which I do not agree with, I have every right to participate in the discussion.I wish this thread all the best, and I hope that history does not repeat itself. But if certain people try to abuse your thread, by attempting to use it as a one-sided shoutbox to preach bias class agenda (eg: class vs class balance), I will respond by discussing my point of view.Best of luck.  SMILEY
