Reporting a command bug or exploit I found.

Can I please speak to a developer about an exploit I found to pretty much instantly kill most of anything. (except maybe the hardest raiding mobs.)

Would love to talk to one in game about it if possible.

You can PM a DEV on the forums or file a petition describing the exploit would be the fastest way to report it.

ether /bug or PM gninja beforehand write up what you intend to tell them starting with what it does and how it is done then get a non-EQ2 friend to proof read it to see if it can be made more consice. If it can be improved apon then do so when you are happy with how it is written then sumbit it.

Good luck friend, I've already reported it multiple times.

I don't think they really care since the hardest stuff you can kill with it is tso content (and a few sf mobs).

I asked a dev on test (because I know the same bug) and he said to PM Omougi.

I already PM'd him but it never got fixed. Bug's been around for longer than you know, I can assure you.

It's absolutely gamebreaking and I am surprised there wasn't an emergency hotfix to fix it.

@Buffrat, probably not the same one you know, but I am not going into details on it.

We recieve many PMs about exploits and fix as many as we can reproduce. We just usually don't put them into the patch notes for obvious reasons. If you PMed us about an exploit that is not fixed it is almost certainly because we were unable to reproduce it internally.

Again feel free to PM me the details of these even if you have already sent them to someone else.

Good grief according to this article DEVS were told three months ago about this. Also 20 hours before your post SOE Mods were deleting the reforging posts talking about the bug.

We the players would like to know once this reforge bug is fixed that those that abused this are perma banned.

Its very easy to look at the logs for when the top raid mobs were killed and who the same player was that had the disco.

That eq2wire article references the slash command issue as well.
