Possible News About AA's

Just saw this over on the Conjurer board. Not sure how much, if any, of this is going to make it to live but it seems like good news for us. I infer that they listened to what some Furies were saying and decided to chage the Wrden AA to match ours not the other way around.

*** Desert of Flames ***- Items from the Poet's Palace that were previously labeled Fabled are now Legendary (though the items themselves have not changed).*** Achievements ***- Shaman: The Spirit Wolf pet's attack speed has increased.- Druid: The Shapeshift achievement should now stack with the Warden wolf form line of spells.*** Combat ***Assassin changes:- Slaughter had its ranged fixed to 5m instead of 50m.Berserker changes:- Juggernaut's penalties no longer increase as the art is upgraded.Coercer changes:- Reek of Terror now has no power cost, a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15, is no longer a reactive spell, and casts a point blank AoE hate reduction and fear.Conjuror changes:- Stoneskin now has no power cost, a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15, and fires a point blank AoE hate decrease.- The Air Pet has less of a DPS bonus than it used to.- The Air Pet's Furystorm ability had its damage reduced and power cost lowered.- The Air Pet's Galestorm ability had its damage reduced, reuse timer increased, and power cost lowered.- The Fire Pet's Shocking Flames ability had its damage reduced.- The Fire Pet's Wave of Flames ability had its damage reduced.- The Fire Pet's Storm of Flames ability had its damage reduced and power cost lowered.Illusionist changes:- Barrier of Intellect now has no power cost, a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15, is no longer a reactive spell, and casts a point blank AoE hate reduction and mesmerize.Necromancer changes:- Deathly Pallor now has no power cost and a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15.- The Shade Pet has less of a DPS bonus than it used to.- The Shade Pet's Shadestrike ability had its damage reduced and power cost lowered.- The Shade Pet's Acidity ability had its damage reduced, reuse timer increased, and power cost lowered.- The Mage Pet's Grim Devastation ability had its damage reduced and power cost lowered.- The Scout Pet will now use the proper combat arts more consistently and will correctly gain a new combat art at level 60.Ranger changes:- Leg Shot had its damage increased and no longer has a double chance to dispel when taking damage.- Bleeding Cut's DoT damage has increased.- Steady Aim's reuse timer has been reduced, and it now increases ranged critical hit chances.- Trick Shot had its casting time reduced and damage increased.- Rip had its damage increased.- Miracle Shot had its damage increased.- Lunge was changed from a DoT to a combination melee attack + very short duration root.Warlock changes:- Nullmail now toggles, has no power cost, a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15, triggers when the caster drops below 30% health, applies a powerful resistance buff and dodge change, and no longer has a hate reduction or reactive lifetap.Wizard changes:- Mail of Frost now toggles, has no power cost, a 5 minute reuse timer instead of 15, triggers when the caster drops below 30% health, applies a more powerful ward than before, and no longer has a hate reduction or snare effect.*** Tradeskills ***- The following sets of crafted armor have had their stats adjusted to include resistances: Adamantine Vanguard, Xegonite Vanguard, Adamantine Devout, Xegonite Devout, Adamantine Plate, Xegonite Plate, Adamantine Melodic, Xegonite Melodic, Adamantine Chainmail, Xegonite Chainmail, Adamantine Brigandine, Xegonite Brigandine, Adamantine Reverent, Xegonite Reverent, Tailored Windcloth, Tailored Dragon's Breath, Tailored Horned Leather, Tailored Dragonhide.

That is good news. Nice to seee druids get a bump. (Granted it said Wardens, but ours already stacked so i'm assuming that it won't change).

Actually, if you look at the update notes in order:

Druid: Shapeshift's Tiger Bite damage has been increased. The Fury version now follows the same stacking rules as the Warden

which put the fury aa as non-stackable with our predator spell, making both fury and warden aa's obsolete. The next update fixed the warden aa issue:

Druid: The Shapeshift achievement should now stack with the Warden wolf form line of spells.

However, no mention of fury and their stacking issue from the first update. Looks like the tables were reversed!

Keep in mind, as has been mentioned before, the Fury "nerf" hasn't been seen anywhere on Live. That's why i started the Possible News thread. It seems that the Devs decided to remove the stack, heard the Furies arguments against it, changed their minds and decided to change the Warden version so it stacked.

I believe bcbroom said this in another thread,.. but Transcendent predator now stacks with shapeshift,.. I am in game now on test and it works.. was corrected on the patch that came out monday night.

That is good news indeed, as I would hate to drop either buff. Neither is great, but both provide some value.
