Agree with this. I am not a fan of the illusion and not being able to get rid of it. Checking "hide illusion" doesn't get rid of it.

PLEASE remove the forced illusion - it's not useable at the moment

i don't see why this is such a big fuss, every expac you always get a sig line mount that is equal to the beta reward mount.

the reason why you can't hide the djinn mount is because it is a shapechange mount rather then a normal mount.

they are mechanically different.

Forced Shape Change things are silly: If it's a good Thing everyone should use it, so everyone is forced to look the same

At least there should be somewhen an option to hide this Shape-Change illusion or the shape change mechanism should react on the hide my Illusion Option instead of extracting the shape change optical thing like the ascendion lv 5 and 10 (and there will be more like this)

but why the hell am i forced to look like a djinn otherwise i will loose 100 potency (compared with the actual best raidmount Apalla Firecrown)

And I'm sure we will see better mounts in this Expansion within the next 2 weeks, so it's just a question of future handling

I don't care if it's mechanically different.

I just don't want to look as a djinn ... I want to use the mount I want. And I'd like them to find a solution so you don't get shapeshifted Smile

a good idea might be to ask in future for a selection between a shapechange mount and a regular mount or a new mechanic where you can remove stats from a mount and put those stats into a different mount.

shapechange mounts are pretty cool in my opinion, there's no reason why they should go if there is a way to keep both sides happy.

when we did the flying mount timeline in great devide we got a choice between different skins of the griffon, i don't see why we couldn't be offered a selection between a standard mount or a shape changing mount in modern sig lines.

it'd be simplest to offer choices in say sig lines and such, you could get a shapechange mount that you can't hide or a standard type mount with the same stats.

it'd be alot simpler then trying to get shapechange mounts compatible with the normal appearance system without breaking them.

I think they are very proud of this mount illusion they made (remembering their remarks in the podcast video of new expac about it), and after earning it myself I don't like it either. Unfortunately I wouldn't hold my breath for them to adress this, like people said above, you'll most likely get mounts with better stats during the new expac so they don't bother to look at the issue with the Beta reward mount.
If you used the time and got the pink flying cow mount on Public Test during Heroes' Festival as a replacement with same stats (bar the resists which are bugged to stay on only 100 each - Daybreak work for you), it's a good replacement.

We're going to see a lot of Djinn toons running around. But if you do the sig line, you get a better mount that does not force an illusion onto you.

Can't stand the forced illusion with Djinn. Should be able to hide all illusions just like always.
