First of all, let me preface this with simply stating that I love this zone.

However.. our relationship has reached a point where I wake up in the morning, look over at Plane of War, and regret my decision. It's like a Meatloaf song.

Plane of War is obviously intended to maintain it's presence throughout this next content pack. I can live this with.

However, with that said, 2 questions:

1. With Plane of War being boosted, will the drops be boosted as well? (Besides Rallos loot)

and.. if not.

2. What are the chances that guilds who have been doing this zone for a year already can maybe complete a quest and be able to skip right to the Rallos Event? Or at least instant-kill the trash. Preferably the prior.

We do not need and have not needed anything from any other mob in the zone for months, (And new CoE stuff will probably be better than everything else) so unless that changes.. an entire zone of trash and old hat named mobs will really, really, REALLY stick in my craw. And at the rate we're getting cloaks, we will NEVER be done with this zone.

Just a humble request from a humble #1 paladin worldwide.

PS. I never got to talk to you at SOELive Kander, and for that, I apologize.

If this is punishment for that, I understand.

I agree with this. It is good that they are keeping PoW loot relevent but the trash at this point has just become an anoying time sink. The zone needs an Emerald Halls type trash removal NPC. The zone would be a lot more fun without the trash mobs.

Very good point.There is a massive amount of trash mobs in PoW, which offer pretty much nothing for guilds that are clearing PoW besides a waste of time.

Let guilds choose between killing trash for a chance at random fabled gear, or despawning the trash to focus on named mobs.

Guilds just entering PoW and killing the Boar for the first time will still want to farm those trash mobs, as they will provide definite gear upgrades to what they currently have, so the trash does serve a role.  Just that much trash for a zone that is now, what, 2 years old (?) is ridiculous for guilds that are mostly trying to either farm close, or are at least deeply progressed in named progression.

Additionally, if Plane of War can be boosted into relevance, has any thought been given to doing the same with some of the older raid zones?

I personally would NOT mind a revamped Shard of Hate with awesome loot and Maestro of Rancor blasting my face off.

As I've said before, I disagree with going right to rallos because I'd like a zone where I can actually hit mobs and do more than 200-300k dps. Thanks, brawler mobs.

But just killing all the trash is cool.

Lol. I'd rather Teku not be a brawler than us having to do the whole zone. But yeah. Trash is a good start.

most of the itemization probably isn't done to begin with

but from what I have seen, there are some pieces less then PoW and some pieces better then PoW, so PoW is now like the "middle"

Teku drops are supposed to be relevant even after all the new content has been completed.

And by Teku drops, they may just mean myth cloaks.

this ^

they did this in VP so we could go right to trak, why not do it for pow?

killing the same mobs we have been farming for the last 8 months just to work on the final event is very boring. please give us a quest similar to what you did in  VP.

At the _very_ least the hp pools on the trash are just ridiculous.

We've not been doing this zone nearly as long as others, and we're already choosing not to raid rahter than grind that trash agian.

the logic of it is nice, but they would have to do something that only triggers Teku if all people in raid have like completed the quest or something, if you let one person just like teleport past to Teku because that 1 person did the quest and no one else in the raid, that would seem a bit unfair imo to other guilds

The simple solution is to just unlink the trash from Commanders, so that you can clear only the trash needed to reach the named (or still clear all the trash if you are so inclined). That would still require people to clear all the earlier named to pull Commanders, and Commanders to kill Teku.

Yep, unlink the trash. The trash is the 'problem' with PoW. Would still have to do some but not all.

Also would be nice it loot drops were a bit more normalized, smarted up or something.

By now, that "simple solution" is still pretty freakin' lame.

No offense, but there's no reason to not be able to skip directly to whichever named you want. This zone is literally giving me cancer at this point. And I've even missed it several times this month.. and we clear the trash on off-nights.

But in reality, that change (if any) is more likely, purely because it doesn't change the continuity of the zone, whilst removing the majority of the annoyance.

That's obviously better than nothing, but I don't want them confusing what we want with what we think we'll get.

Ideally, everything is unlinked. I don't see that being unreasonable.

Let killing Teku the normal way flag us to pull the commanders without getting trash. Or reward as an item that we can cast to "unlink" the trash from aggro'ing in for the commanders. Just require commanders be killed to pull Teku, so you have to at least killed two nameds to get the myth cloak box.
