We'll make a last ditch effort to improve or replace Inquisition tomorrow.  By the way, the ward hasn't been shared since the very start of beta.

Thank you very much Xelgad!

I will add that I am extremely happy about the ward, it is pretty much a perfect addition to our abilities and adds an element in balancing all out dps of hitting the ability whenever its up compared to thinking about it and using it at the correct times. It will add an extra layer of skill for maximising the potential of playing an Inquisitor

After some solo Testing, I like the Fest tree for a tank group, nice. I like the Right tree for a Non-Tank group. Good Job. I will need to see just how much the group power feed gives, but it looks like it may be ok. But as is it no Inq should spec the Inquisition option, there is no point to it, So i am looking fowered to seeing what you have for us Xelgad.

Porblem i see with Fanatic's Protection, when i have 3 solo mobs attacking me, the ability expieres before i have a change to get a heal cast, let alone 5 heals in.  I may be missing the point of this ability tho.  I like all of the additional things, but i think the ability should last till the 5 heals land or something like that.  the added effects can use the ... this ability is complicated.  there are 4 parts to this spell. 

1.  Fanatic's Protection - +10% Healing Received, diration 30 sec's.  Does this last for 30 sec's regardless? 

2. Fanatic's Retribution - 120% of physical dmg reflect, max 75%, duration 30 sec's.  is this only 1 hit or all hits in the duration? 

3.  Fanatical Grace -.45 or .5% power returned when target takes dmg. ok this is fine, will proc 5 times per cast.

4. Fanatic's Rejection - - 1.0 sec Stone skin.  is this also have a duration of 30 sec's to triger using the under 50% and 60% chance? 

Can someone explane the durations of this and how they should work?

Any chance we could get the ward to ignore small damage?  The reason we've wanted a ward for so long is because we wanted a tool to help prevent people being one-shotted.  We already have plenty of tools for dealing with hits < 50k.  It's a small change that would really maximize the effect of this ability.  First two ideas I can think of would be to make it ignore hits for less than X percent of the person's health (like many stoneskin effects) or make it only ward damage that would bring the person below X percent of max health (like the new defiler ward).  

If you removed the "mob must be below 50% hp" requirement, this wouldn't be needed.  In it's current form, however, we'll have to use Interrogation on an add being burned down to get the ward to activate.  It's not difficult, but we'll have to hope the timing works out well.  I'd hate to use it on an add 20 seconds before an aoe, and then have little hits slowly eat the ward away before the aoe actuallys lands.  If we could get the ward regardless of mob hp, then we could just time it ourselves, but you aren't giving us that option right now.

I've been too busy with hurricanes and stuff to test the ward a lot in a group setting, but thank you for the clarification, that makes me feel better. And also thanks for finally addressing the fact that Inquisition is bad, that gives me some hope that maybe you did read the /feedback I sent in beta.

INQUISITOR:Perfected Inquest is now the top middle advancement. The power value scales with rank.Final Verdict is the middle endline. It increases the thresholds of Verdict to 3% for epics, 12% for enemies stronger than standard, 28% for standard targets and 55% for weak targets.

Final Verdict is not worth 2 points. Lol.

Fanatic's Protection would be so much better with a lower cast time, but even then the 10% heal received for 5 hits is a joke and it would mostly only be used for the reflect damage.

Dont forget about the 2.5% power every 3 sec's to the group.

What a joke.

Agreed.  The only time i cast verdict is during a raid.  And even then about 50% of the time it dies before it has a chance to go off. Not to mention its usefulness is directly hindered by having more than one inq in raid. Ie multiple castings of verdict does nothing. Its too situational of a spell, expecially in high dps raids.

Verdict is one of those spells that just sits on my hot bar and hopes to get pressed. 

At this point, I'd rather have verdicts orginial funcationality PLUS the ablity to cast it at other times and use as a group proc damage on hit, Like PoM or the like.

Perfected Inquest - ok, so know we are getting for 3 points the same amount of power that we where getting for 2 points? can you give us more power for the points, maybe 20% more? Final Verdict - as stated before, if it works at 2 i will save the 2 points and just verdict at 2%, not worth the points.

It's gonna be very hard to justify putting points in either of the 'middle' prestige. If they'd do the sensible thing and swap the conversions so we gain CB on the right side, maybe. But as it stands we're having to expend a stupid amount of points buying both conversions.

PS. has Smite Heretic been fixed yet so it actually triggers?

Both Masteries are abysmally weak.  And no, Smite Heretic still doesnt proc correctly. So we get to look forward to double conversions and a not fully tricked out CA as our new "goodies" for this expac.....

With Live just around the corner, I fear its too late to get this corrected. Honestly i cant say that this is any better than inquisition.

with the change to 12 lncrements on Fanatic's Protection this is actually a decent option for a MT/OT Inq. Will do horrible for a non tank raiding Inq tho. and I think that is good. the power replenishment is very decent if you tank is tanking more then 1 mob. it can be up to 1.8 power a sec, which I think IF you can keep it going for the duration is 100% power in about 55 sec's to your group. decent power. also the Stone skin and dps from it looks better with more triggers. this means if you are taking Fanatic's Protection there is no reason at all to take ether of the middle two tho. If you take Interrogation then the Perfected Inquest would help if your group does not have a chanter. but there is no reason I can think of to ever take the verdict one.
