I am trying to get in to Beta. for the rewards basically.. but the download is so slow. sort of stuck at 200mb. will it speed up?

I'm guessing beta is going to be going away tonight or tomorrow. If you're downloading the full 18 GB or whatever it takes to fully install beta... you're too late :S

Copy your live folder into that beta folder, then run patch. Will be a much shorter and faster download.

i am down to 200mb and its slow. wasnt that slow for the first bunch. and i did copy paks and music first. the last 200mb is at a snails pace

Stop the download. Copy over the music and paks to the BetaServer folder. Then re-start the Launcher and allow it to patch. It'll go pretty quick. I would suggest that you create a level 1 character and let the Beta Buffer send it to 100, then see Oliver either in Mara or the Forge of Brell in Maldura to get tradeskill buffed.
I think it takes about 3 hours to do the whole tradeskill line. It takes me at least a day to do the whole adventuring line of quests. |

thank you. i did the music and paks .. i checked they are there. its this garbage that has slowed me down.. see below. I think i should give up

Just copy everything, the patcher will update the beta files that are needed.
