I know it's supposed to be hush-hush, but is there going to be anything PlanetSide related at this year's Fan Faire? Lots of people would definitely show up if we knew that there was something there for us too!

Would you guys willing to entertain the idea of an online pass, where those registered can still get the goodies, and can get live streams online to pannels? I would be willing to pay the same price to attend the fan faire online.

If that's not something you folks are willing to do, would you improve on the online coverage? Two years ago, the online coverage was pretty good. I remember watching Smed's address and panel coverage. But last year, the online coverage was very very poor. It was hard to find a feed anywhere, the videos didn't start to show up until a day or two later, etc.. I hope the coverage this year will be better for those that can't attend in-person. Thanks

The online pass idea is a good one, if they can secure it so that only those who paid can get into the panel streams, heck having someone there to ask a few of the online questions would be kinda nice too.

As for the coverage in previous year, well the year at the Rio with Streaming Coverage of nearly everything, that was done by Ogaming(I believe) and they kinda don't exist anymore, and they had a fairly large set-up at the back of every panal to provide that streaming. I don't think any of the gaming press could afford that set-up anymore. So it would have to be done in house as a members only thing.

Well there was a resont inteview with Smed at a gaming website(like a couple days befor the restructuring anouncement) where Smed said what amounts to I can't talk about PS:N and EQ:N now but we should have something to talk about "latter in the year". Well SoE has stated they want to make thier big anouncements at Fan Faire, and Fan Faire is "later in the year" so I would get there will indeed be "Something" reguarding PS:N at Fan Faire. Be it an offical anouncment of its launch name, or in game footage, or even more then that who knows(outside SoE). Me I am going in thinking it will be an offical anouncment of the game and maybe some screenshots and in-game footage(or a trailer). Cause IMO that is the least they are likly to do at Fan Faire in reguards to PS:N, that way if they do give us more it will be a plesent suprize.

Its too bad that this year is so close to 4th July, peep go on vaction to so family and such, would had came this year, if it hadn't moved up the calender this time. So all enjoy hope its a good one, sorry i will missit.

For me it worked out good. I just attached my family vacation to my vegas one and just have one big 2 week vacation. I am sorry you will miss it.

Woot can not wait for anohter Fan Faire! Had a lot of fun last year! The dates worked out perfect for me also and my Fan Faire is also part of my vacation. After Fan Faire I am heading to Hawaii for a while then its back to Vegas for the Star Trek Convention at the Rio lol.

Yes, I had that happen, Customer support had me clear my cookies and cache, but that still didnt help, so I takled to another CSR and they had to fix something in my account, then everything worked fine, so just call Support, talk to the billing department and they should be able to get your account fixed up so you can register!
