I'm not sure how to explain this really, but recently (I would say in the past week) when I am reading topics in a forums section and go back to the main EQ2 forum link (you know that thing you see in the upper left corner just above this window you are looking at) all of the topics are now read in each and every area.

I never went into any other ones.  THis is driving me nuts because I have no idea which topic areas had new posts.  Is this new?  A Fluke?

Been a week, no response yet.

Forums still do this, mainly when I finish with a post topic, then click on one of the categories at the top of the window (ie EverQuest II >> Top >> Support Forums , etc) and they all become "marked as read"

I agree this is annoying, but I get the impression there is not an easy fix.  It seems to come and go and from what I understand is tied to the way the server tracks sessions.I wish the forum devs would bump up the priority on this and get this bug some serious lovin' but in the grand scheme of things, I'm not sure it's that big of a deal to work around either by just glancing at the "last message" date/time stamp for the thread.
