Quest: Shattered Seas: Temple of Doom

This quest has you attempting to zone into the Shadow of Luclin dungeon in Grim Shales. I've found a couple of bugs with this quest that don't think anyone has reported yet.

First. In order to progress the quest, you must first solo into the incorrect dungeon. Instead of getting quest progress from zoning into Ssraeshza Temple: Shadow of Luclin, you only get credit for the first part of the quest in Ssraeshza Temple (Solo) instead. Two different zones, yet in Ssraeshza Temple (Solo) there is no sign of Dargan Greymast whatsoever.

When you do get to the second part of the quest to search the temple for Dargan, getting to the end boss where Aillena appears and you find Dargan in a sphere, killing Diabo does nothing and you're unable to progress the quest at this point. Can't click the sphere or the body of Dargan or are unable to do anything.

Dargan still seems to be trapped in his bubble. Has this not been updated or am I missing something I need to do?

I zoned in temple and out and then in Shadow of luclin, cleared my way till the erudite lady came to help, she weakened the heroic invaders, pulled them (some managed to hit for 80K and since they have lot of HP it may be an issue for dps classes that don't have the dps to kill them very fast). The boss did absolutely nothing, i was expecting some mess with the water coulmns but nothing happened. Dargan is now there, in a stase sphere. I tried to find a way to release him but found nothing, i cannot swim up the column and i found nothing to activate.

ya its still bugged I just did the quest you need to log into the solo to get the temp update and then after I exited and logged in the temple of luclin zoen I cleared everything and go to the boy but he just floats there in the bubble now way of updating the quest

Shattered Seas: Temple of Doom - Entering "Ssraeshza Temple: Shadow of Luclin" now properly updates the quest.

I don't know when it'll be on Beta, but it's on its way!

I've run this quite a few times over the past few days, hoping for an update or that I missed something... when I go into the last room, I take a few steps into the middle where the name is non-agro, Aillena spawns, says one line and then disappears.. after a couple of seconds, Diabo turns attackable and 3 shissar spawn (I find it amusing that the shissar are higher level than the name).. there is no quest update when aillena runs in, or when any of them spawn, and none have quest target icons... the quest journal still says to search for Dargan.

Yes heroic shissars, 3 of them teleport in the room and boss turns attackable and aggressive.
I pulled the 3 shissars (check that they are too hard for dps classes, probably they one shot them ;-), and then I had no real other choice than attacking the "boss".

Does this mean that you found some problem and that it will be solved soon ?

So... I just submitted the following fix. I do not know when it'll make it to the Beta server, but when it does it should be noted in the Beta release notes:

Shattered Seas: Temple of Doom - Entering the Grey Gate Room now updates the quest. (I mean it this time!)

I was killed on my first try at killing Diabo Va Thall and the Shissar guards they took me out fast, could not handle all 4.
revived and went back up, Shissars were still active but Diabo Va Thall was not, I had hoped that once I took out the Shissar he would become target able.

well he will not become active.
so I am stuck.

You can body pull them ;-)

I'm stuck to but for a different reason ... indeed i could not destroy the portal using the collapse portal ability, i targeted portal, used collapse portal and it did nothing. After i crushed portal and nothing happened.

I restarted a new instance, but them script get bugged, portal is visible but not targetable, ailena is here but her script does not trigger.

the temple of doom last name encounter is still buggy
I was able to take down last mob, get the icon to close the portal.
I killed all the shissar first then was able to close the portal BUT
NO UPDATE!

thing is zone really did not reset!! Dargan is no longer in his bubble
there was two Aillena again, but this time she is back on the "Its working your now channeling the shissarian magic" and will not give me the icon to kill the portal.

Portal is up in center but the graphic that was in the center of it showing the army is gone and the portal is no longer an attack-able mob.

I just dont understand how some people have finished this quest line already =/

Same situation for me, i used the special ability on the 104VV portal, i did everything as intended and i m still stuck.
I probably cleared the boat 10 days ago and i have been almost stuck for a week now.

I did this zone today and everything worked for me just fine after I kill the first set of snake and the named quest updates got the ability to close the portal I killed the second set of snakes then the portal with the ability I was given quest update again zoned out talk to the captain and was done.
