In EverQuest II, we are currently celebrating Frostfell; and for twelve days of Frostfell, as part of the celebration we're picking one top selling item per day and putting it on sale at a huge discount for that one day only.  The items will change over around 10-11am (pacific time) each morning from now until the 24th of December.  Be sure to check in each day to see what's on sale.

And on the third day of Frostfell... pick up the Thurgadin Grand Hall prestige home for only 800 SC!

Check out the "sale" tab in the marketplace to find it; only till tomorrow morning, so don't miss it!  Watch this forum or log in each day to see the new sale items.

I doubt anyone is missing it ... they are waiting for something worth while.

All things in perspective. As the saying goes, one mans trash is another mans treasure . . .

Ironically, it feels kinda like holiday gift giving. . . some things you find useful, some things find a drawer for and somethings you wonder if you can give to someone else SMILEY

Dear Domino . . .all I want for Frostfell is a nifty pair of laser goggles . . kkthx!

Just because you're bitter about the promotion does not mean you need to rain on other people's parades.

I'm not going to buy any SC items as a result of this promotion either, but, if other people are happy about it, more power to them.

I don't think he is bitter, he is propably just reflecting what the rest of us feel, we are used to all the other 12 days of frostfell when they gave you something. This is the first year where its just discounted items that cost real life money.

Perhaps they should have given it a new title. People read it and only remember how it always has been so are set up for disappointment thinking it will be like the last years

Just remember, not everyone has extra real life money to spend on a game especially at christmas time when we are buying gifts in a recession

Love this house. Great for dwarves.

Now work on some Fort Irontoe or Kaladim-based housing!

I waited because I have an island, a planitarium, an everfrost house on each character, and a lavastorm house on each character that I still haven't started decorating and didn't need to get the Thug house yet since I was waiting until I finished some of the ones I already had. But since it was on sale I decided to grab it now. I stock up on SC during double SC weekends. And in fact I saved 10 bucks because I bought 2.

/thumbs up!

I hope you enjoy that house. I find that one in particular incredibly useful as the exit point for the house is actually in Thurgadin and not South Qeynos or Freeport. I wish the other houses were done in similar fashion. It adds more value to the homes and a better sense of immersion in the game.

Perhaps an addition where on exit you have 2 choices, the South Qeynos/Freeport option or the more accurate exit location? I know I would like it, not sure how many others would or wouldnt.

Hm don't speak for me ... I'm not in the vocal majority that complains about everything.

Though I don't like what they've put on sale (I already have or won't get) it's nice they are doing something.  Granted, free things in the mail like NoTD had would be better.

But I was also brought up to be thankful for what I get and take it with a smile and a thank you.

Yay! I'm totally agreeing with what Ridolain said so much that I'm actually posting on the forums. It's good to be appreciative of what they're doing.  They could do nothing at all! I, myself, will probably get one of these houses because of the exit point.

OK, I finally found this after several days of looking. When the original message from SOE said "get daily offers and deals when you login to participating games listed below" I thought I would see some kind of special announcement.

Instead I have to click through all the items under the "Sale" tab and try to figure out which one is on sale.

Shouldn't this be saved for Easter? "Easter Egg hunt in Norrath! Search through the entire marketplace and try to find the one item on sale! for only a few hours!"

I have played EQ2 since shortly after release, and this years Frostfell is a major disapointment to me.  I have used the marketplace...for experience potions during bonus days, for a mount, even to order the security FOB....things that had real value to me.  Never for mere "fluff" stuff and never for housing (I have 4 houses on my main already and don't even have one decorated fully yet!)  Now I am told my Frostfell "gifts" are like a bad dollar store sale?  No thanks!  I will save my SC (which I got during the triple days) for something USEFUL!
