So I did some investigation and have a couple of questions regarding the requirements to aquire raid armor.
Firstly the facts as currently can be seen: 1) It requires 45 of one gem type to aquire 1 piece of armor 2) There are 8 types of gem in total 3) Each heroic quest rewards 1 gem of one type only 4) Each heroic zone on a given day rewards one different type of gem 5) The weekly rewards 7 gems. I don't know if it rotates. The Questions: 1) Can you trade in previous tier gear and get the gems back? 2) If you can trade it in and get the gems back how many do you loose in the process if at all? 3) What does Cyrketh the pattern infuser do? and how does it work? 4) what does the gem crusher do and how does it work exactly? how many gems crush into another type etc? Suggestions: Based of previous xpacs SF and TSO where we used tokens for armor the raid armor required very minimal void shards. T4 gear only required the pattern and 3 shards. These could be aquired in 3 runs. SF was a bit different. We had marks of mannar and seals of arad. Every named in both these expacs dropped either a void shard or seal of arad per kill for each member in the raid for the kill. So what I'm suggesting here is: 1) The heroics should allow you to pick the gem type you get as a reward or 2) The amount of gems should be upped to 3 per quest completion. Preferably option 1 would be better. 3) The raid nameds should drop one gem each for each raid member as a reward. This should be a selectable gem type but i'm not opposed to random either. 4) Weekly solo and duo's should reward 5 gems. The reasoning behind the suggestion is at the moment its going to feel way to grindy and forced for raiders so having multiple options to acquire the gems should be given but balance should play a part so as to ensure just one method isn't used. |

I see the gem requirements have been lowered to 30 and there is now a raid currency that is fairly decently paced.
This shouldn't be too grindy. Looks reasonable from what I can see from the adjustments. Lets see how having 8 different gem types goes though but it is better than the requirements that were there before. |
