What are you thinking, rangers? -Prestige

With the new prestige conversion having left side (in my opinion this is the more desirable side) being the one with CB-->Pot, I'm leaning towards a dual conversion.

Reason being:

Wreak Havoc is a huge part of my game-play with the reset rune + ravaging. If you have these things you will likely understand why that is. Reset rune does not reset PFT, which is fine, it doesn't reset Wreak Havoc either, but Wreak Havoc is on a similar reuse to the runes, whereas PFT is nowhere close.

The Pot-->CB line on the right side is immense. That's a difference between having 1,900CB and having 2,500CB, and potentially capping it in combat. Huge, right?

I didn't want to come into this without testing it any, so I went through each prospective conversion.

Dual Conversion

There may be a better way of doing this but I didn't see a point in fiddling with it at the moment.

Only changed the Prestige tree. No changes to AAs or reforging were made, which means I was still sitting at a stupid amount of haste, very low dps mod, etc.

They aren't likely to be finished with class balance and prestige stuff.

There is still 1 week to go till live.(Wishful thinking i know).

Folks have asked in the other threads regarding conversions to just have 12 pot to 1 CB conversion.(With this conversion, the 4k CB cap is easily obtainable however it may require to be raised again imo if these remain otherwise overcap CB is likely to be reforged).

Alternatively make both prestige CB > POT conversion and that way alot of folks wont be touching the 4k CB cap so easily...(Doubt this is what the majority would want but the disparity in the current live conversions would be resolved quickly).

Slightly offtopic, I have other concerns for ranger abilities , namely that old favourite Coverage and our cast times are still pretty bad(Hopefully epic will have something to compensate for these).

Knowing Caith we probably won't see anything else about class changes until we read the launch day notes. If I was in his shoes that's exactly what I would do. There's just not enough data, on beta.

Left side will still be superior than dual conv due to the incremental endlines. 12% base potency or whatever it is will beat pot -> CB because you'd only get a 24 pot = 1 CB conversion. (Remember double conversion halves each conversions benefit).

i'm feeling the same way with the assassin prestige conversions. would rather take the penalty and dual prestige so i'm not losing my IPS and assassinate resets too.

Big fan of the conversions being identical on each side or somehow a choice of which one you'd prefer.

from what ive seen heroics starter raid right side will still be the way to go unless gear gets more CB on to where you can get self buffed to roughly 3200+ the elft side woudl take over imho

I will forever be iffy about right side unless it is a heavy aoe situation.

i really really really want to like assassin right side, but losing IPS with current raid lag truly sounds like an awful situation. If concealment worked like IPS i'd switch in a heartbeat

with the reset rune assassin right side is a joke compared to left side. probably will stay that way.
